Yes you can. If you've got a p71 but you want some pretty woodgrain on your dashboard...
Go to your local pull a part, grab some trim pieces, pluck out that trunk release (my 07 had the wiring harness in the door for it already) and install it into the door panel, then enjoy your new life of luxury.

P71 trunk button relocation
Is it possible to relocate the trunk button from the dash to the door on a 07 p71? I just pulled this beautiful wood grain trim from a junkyard crown vic but I completely forgot about the truck button when I got it home.
