Windsurf no longer appears on MAC SEARCH BAR. Problem with windsurf or Mac?

I'm not sure if this is a problem with Apple or windsurf. I'm using Mac (26.3 (25D125)) , the latest updated version, and I cannot search windsurf at all. I checked if it is there in the terminal, and it works. If we go directly to applications folder and click, it works, but in search (Cmd+ Space) it's not, like what is happening? I tried putting Cmd+1 as someone pointed out in the apple support forums. Even then it doesn't. Asked grok about why this is happening and it says Apple might have not indexed OR new policy considers all VS Code forks as same. Funnily this was working few days ago.

Is this some sort of issue with the VS code forks? I see even antigravity not working. Is there some way I can index or add Windsurf manually? like if when I want to use it I don't get it? It's so horrible.

My understanding is this is the issue with Mac. But might be windsurf issue as well. Given it runs on VS Code does apple consider all the same? (I Installed antigravity very recently, thinking if this is the issue)

Does anyone still use openclaw today?

Was all great a month ago. But I don’t see any updates or anything recently. Do you guys still use it? If so what’s your best use case?

ONE MONTH SINCE OPUS 4.7. Still not on Antigravity! What am I paying $250 for!

I haven't opened AGY for two months. And still they have no updates

u/AssociationSure6273 — 10 days ago

I believe Google is SUNSETTING antigravity. There are no developers working with this, correct?

I was talking to one of my Google friends in San Francisco, and they were like, They don't even use Antigravity within Google. They still use some other internal product. I think AntiGravity is being sunset. Is that correct?

Look at this, they're still using opus 4.6 thinking, and I think it is really low thinking mode. And I don't see any bots who are from Google or Google employees in this Reddit as well. Like, why? The only logical reason I feel is that Google is not interested in taking this forward, and they are literally censoring this.

I'm an alter dyer. Unfortunately, I haven't used for two months, and two months ago it was okay. Today it looks like shit. I use claude code. I use windsurf. I use Pi Coder. And when I come to Antigravity. I really feel like shit when I come to Antigravity.

Gemini Ultra $250 a month for this SHIT! How to resolve this?

Can't even provide feedback. It's just stuck over there. I restarted the computer, restarted the antivirus, tried everything. I don't know what is happening over here right now. I need to debug this thing. What are these guys even paying their developers for? I haven't seen a single improvement since Google acquired Windsurf. Windsurf so much better today with fast context and other context management situations.

46k tokens of THINKING!! What the heck is it thinking?

Claude thought for 14 minutes but ended up with no output (RAN OUT OF BUDGET!!). I am really curious to know WHAT it was thinking. May be I can find some useful stuff there.

I then checked the jsonl file in the projects and thinking is "". LIKE WHAT THE HECK! Is it because it still did not end thinking? Or how to retrieve thinking? Does anyone know how?

Observability Platform for Internal Coding Tools?

Founder of an AI SaaS startup here. I'm looking for a telemetry or observability platform for internal coding tools - like Cursor, WindSurf, Claude Code and others.

I've been using posthog for my observability and telemetry of my production deployment. I'm not concerned about that.

We are a remote team and we use multiple coding tools for coding, like Cursor, WindSurf, Claude Code, and VS Code. It's a team of twelve people, not much, so we haven't restricted anyone from using any tools. All the laptops are managed devices by the company. We do have a Tailscale VPN and a secure web gateway.

I want to observe and monitor what my team is actually using in Claude Code, WindSurf, and other coding agents. We are already spending 70-80k$ per month for token costs.

I just want to minimally observe that they are not using it for their personal projects or some external open source contributions.

Do you guys know any easy way to do this? Are there any observability platforms, softwares that do that for coding agents?

CLAUDE ENTERPRISE - Pros and Cons?

Has anyone here used Claude Enterprise? I know I have to pay extra for the usage (I see it's seat based + extra usage). This is one of the negative parts, but what are the other advantages of Claude Enterprise?

One of the big features that I'm looking for is to monitor the Claude Code sessions of my team's developers. I want to know what they're using it for. I'm giving them an API key as well as extra usage as well as x20 max. And I feel some of them are just doing it wrong - like throwing a megabytes of logs. I want to SEE THE CONTEXT and the CONVERSATIONS they had with claude code.

Is this available in Enterprise tier? Can anyone here share their experiences?

Planning to move to claude enterprise. IS IT WORTH IT?

I have been using cloud for quite a while and moved from cursor to Claude Code, especially after the Claude Code came.

I started my startup with just two folks, two months ago, and now you are seven folks working now. All of them are developers. All of them are technical. All of them use Claude Code regularly and a bunch of harness Comma skills, plugins.

Half of us significantly burn the tokens and go over extra usage, and I pay quite a lot on extra usage anyway, so what I was thinking was what is it worth going to the enterprise tier?

So what I see as a direct disadvantage is that I need to pay extra for the usage. There is no usage that comes by default when it comes with Teams or Enterprise. So technically, it's all API usage-based pricing.

But on the other side, I'm looking for a few features. I want to know, as CEO, what my developers are actually doing. We are a fully remote team, and I would like to know what they are working on and how they are handling their core Claude Code. And to be honest, I do have a little bit of FOMO. If there are other developers who are using it really well, I would love to learn how they are doing it.

So technically, I don't want just the number of tokens that people are spending. I want to know:

  • what they're using
  • the prompts, the skills, the permissions that they provide
  • how they're actually doing it and where they're actually getting stuck
  • where the context is being used. what commands they use. (i learnt about /compact only recently)
  • how they're managing the context and compaction.
  • how they're actually spending their entire time experimenting with system design.
  • i don't want to see just the end result, which is the code, which I can see in github. but the whole process.

Do you guys think claude enterprise would be worth trying? Do they have full observability and remote control feature?

Or otherwise, just let me know what would be the advantages and disadvantages. Are there any gotchas?

EDIT: some people start to tell that I'm micromanaging here. Just to give you more context, we are a remote team. It's a seed-stage startup. And we don't want to burn our money on our developers' personal projects. I hope it makes sense.

Planning to move to windsurf enterprise. IS IT WORTH IT?

So I'm planning to move to Windsurf Enterprise. We're just a team of seven people working on a startup, and we use Windsurf a lot. I mean, not just Windsurf. We also use Claude Code, cursive, whatever it takes. We just use it.

As a CEO, I'm not getting the visibility of what my developers are doing. Because we just use the Windsurf teams. I mean, centralized billing is good. Usage details are great. But I literally want to know what they are actually working on. If they need some help, is there something I can help a specific guy with without him actually asking me? If I see one of the developers who is doing really well, I would rather use his techniques to be shared with the rest of the team. Now we do it manually. I feel like this can be automated a bit.

Is there a feature like that on Windsurf? I know almost every platform has an enterprise feature where they give full admin observability to the admins, and there'll be an admin control panel. Does Windsurf enterprise provide that? Is anyone using that? Can you share some insights with me? I would love to chat more in the DMs.

Looking for a Claude Code and coding engine monitoring platform.

Hi, I'm the founder of the startup. We are a team of eight people, all eight of us developers, and all of them have Claude Code right now.

I'm thinking of going to Anthropic Enterprise tier if possible, but I'm thinking, is it really worth it or not? One of the reasons why I'm trying to go for Enterprise tier is that I want full visibility of what my developers are doing.

I want to know:

  • what code they are writing and what are they doing with Claude code
  • what permissions they are using and what kind of bash scripts or bash commands are they running over there?
  • are they leaking any secret keys or something like that?
  • do I need to take care of something? If there is something that they are looking for and if I know a specific software that actually solves that particular problem, I must be able to know that.
  • or if there is someone who is just throwing out a bunch of logs just to increase the token usage.

One of the things that I tried was to have a proxy and allow my developers to use that proxy instead of using Anthropic directly, but it's not enforcing them. They can always not use this proxy and just use Claude code directly.

Alternative thing I have thought about is to use a secure web gateway, but I kind of think it's an overkill. Why would I go for a Palo Alto network or Securonix, secure AI gateways? Just an overkill to log every single thing. I don't think that's what we need.

I am looking for something that attaches to Claude's code process and sees what Claude's code process is actually running and all those things. Even if it has some LD_preload or something like that, I am fine with that. Because I have Microsoft Enterprise control where managed devices can be installed with some default software

So do you guys know any platform that acts like a control panel for Claude code codecs and other coding agents so that the employer, like me the CEO, can actually monitor their developers' usage and what they're using, their conversation with Claude and other softwares?

So, this is a problem that we always see in our company. There's a small team of seven people, and we rarely use any documentation like Notion and other things.

It's still there, but we don't use it. Most of them, whatever the architecture, the plans, and the details and everything, they add it in their Markdown files in the Github itself. Because it's just very easy and convenient to tell Claude and add that thing as a Markdown file compared to writing something using different AI tools and then adding it to Notion.

Every single thing, whether it's a bug, whether it's a debugging thing, everything, they just put it over there. Now even they add the conversations, sometime copy and paste them from code code to Markdown files, and literally half of the codebase is Markdown files right now.

Have you guys ever felt there is a need for a platform to share conversations?

I am thinking of sharing my Claude Core conversation so that others can look at it and verify before they can talk about it in the PR, if you get what I mean?

So technically, what I am saying is that you can just converse with the cloud and have all the docs and everything. Also, there is a commit or history for Claude Code where you can share with others in the PR and in discussions. You can show what the AI actually did, and you can share the skill and the tools that you are using. Do you think this is really useful? I am thinking of building this platform and shipping it.

used to be 15% a week ago. It consumes 25% now.

EDIT:
I’m built an observability platform for your Claude code. A central observatory to tell you how much tokens you used each day etc.

Would be happy if you can give me some feedback

installed using

`npx superview`

Or

`npm install -g superview`

I wanna allow all my conversation to be downloadable by my NOMINEE. So, that they can use it for whatever they want. Like, creating a digital agent that sounds like me. OR to use my knowledge or secret sauces for their professional lives.

Facebook allows this - using "legacy contact" to manage their account. Is there something similar in Anthropic?

u/AssociationSure6273 — 17 days ago

Power user of windsurf here. have used the SWE-1.6 and Kimi K 2.6 A LOT last two days.

Though it is mostly to test those models rather than coding anything.

NOW I UPDATED WINDSURF AND IT IS TOTALLY UNUSABLE!!

Terminal doesn't work anymore. Everything is black. I need to select the things to see the contrast.

Is anyone facing this issue? Any idea how to fix it?

u/AssociationSure6273 — 21 days ago

Claude Code has been best for coding so far, which is true, but LOOK AT THIS!!!

Kimi K2.5 is so clear about the most important thing while I am working and just fixes the right bug instead of solving a ton of lint errors. Claude on the other hand generally ends up fixing the lint errors but wastes a ton of tokens on the way

u/AssociationSure6273 — 21 days ago

1-2 token per seconds most of the time and then 100s of tokens per second. Is this normal? Have you guys faced this before?

I am pretty sure it is not my internet issue. I have good 1Gbps fibre and it is working while this was generatihng.

Is this the thing that happens due to speculative decoding?

Or is windsurf NERFING the free models? is this correct?

Has anyone else faced the same thing?

u/AssociationSure6273 — 22 days ago

I was trying Kimi K2.6 on windsurf today. For the first time. And it is thinking on and on forever for a simple debugging question.

Have you guys faced the same? Is it an issue with windsurf or the model issue?
