My custom TTRPG ship, The Midnight Kiss (Imperial Flagship mod inspired by the Black Pearl)

So, I wanted to build this ship from my campaign called the Midnight Kiss. I started by using the Imperial Flagship instructions and made modifications along the way.

The ship in the campaign was inspired by the Black Pearl (if that isn't obvious), so I had to make several changes to the deck and the interior to make it fully playable. I also moved the galley/kitchen to the front (historically correct location), added the double stairs on the back, and used just one door for the captain's cabin. Speaking of the captain's cabin, I made several changes like adding a bed and a personal wash station, though it came at the cost of removing the organ that the original Flagship had.

Other minor changes include the figurehead and the tail lights (both inspired by the Black Pearl), moving the kitchen table to the side, and adding an anti-magic sigil to the prison.

I will probably never build this in real life since it's going to be very expensive, but if I ever run a full nautical campaign, this is what I would want my players to have. It leaves plenty of space for great boarding battles and works as a good, big battlemap to play on.

The last picture shows what I had in mind for a battlemap at the docks, where I will be running a one-shot soon (without the ship). I hope you like it!

Has anyone built a boat using these parts?

If you have, how did you built without leaving holes on the sides where it curves up and inward?

So, a friend asked me to build a PC for $1,800

Hey everyone, a friend made this request. I tried going for the 9850x3d+9070xt bundle, but it went to $2.5k (damn ram and storage prices right now). Below are the requirements, is it even possible to get a rig with these specs at this price?

  • New build or upgrade? - New Build
  • Existing parts/monitors to reuse? (List with models/links) - None, but not in proposed budget
  • PC purpose? (Gaming, editing, etc. List apps/games) - Gaming. he doesn't play anything that requires power (maily LoL and other low req games) but he wants something that could play good games if he wanted
  • Purchase country? Near Micro Center? - Puerto Rico, no MC
  • Monitors needed? (Number, size, resolution, refresh rate) - Not in budget
  • Budget range? (Include tax considerations) - $1800
  • WiFi or wired connection? - Both
  • Size/noise constraints? - None
  • Color/lighting preferences? - None
  • Any other specific needs? - At least 32gb ram, 1TB M2 drive. Preferibly a Motherboard with coded error board.
