Looking for advice on how to get into Circomedia

Im in year 12 rn and from uk I’ve always loved the idea of performing and have specifically wanted to try aerials for a long time. I only recently discovered that circus courses and schools actually exist!I am planning to apply for the Circomedia course in Bristol for next year. However, I’m feeling a bit anxious. My only background so far is in martial arts (I have an intrest in drag but doubt this will be usefull). I'm worried this won't be enough to get accepted and am especially stressed about the audition process. So I wanted to know if anyone has any recommendations on how I can make my application look stronger over the next year? Like any specific skills, classes, or conditioning i should do to improve my chances.

Any advice is rlly appreciated!

Is circus school worth it

I have always loved the idea of performing and have wanted to try aerial arts and burlesque for a very long time. I only recently discovered that actual circus schools and higher-education courses exist, and I am planning to apply for the Circomedia course in Bristol for next year. However, I am feeling pretty anxious about applying. As i am doing quite well rn in a levels, and Im scared that if I pursue ariel peformances for circus or cabarette I might regret it. Im specifically scared of failing at peforming and due to lack of qualifications being stuck at a boring 9-5 for most of the week

Therefore I would love some insights on if a course in circus will majorily boost my chances at getting a career in ariels. As well as how sustainable is a career in circus or cabarette after the course as i wpuldnt mind having a secondary job as long as I can still peform fairly often

Any other advice is rlly appreciated!

Is it worth getting a c card and vaccines now or is it better for me to wait a bit?

for context im 17 rn and from the uk I'm not out yet or sexually active because my parents are homophobic, meaning I'd need to get a C-Card and vaccines probavly without telling them. I hope to come out and at uni and try to find a bf, but maybe sooner if the right person comes along. Since I have a lot of free time this holiday, should I get these sorted now or wait until later? I’m stuck because I’m scared my parents might find out, but I also don't want to waste my time if I don't need them yet. So any advice is rlly appreciated.

Looking for any communities where I can find more ppl my age

I'm 17 rn and trying to learn belly dance online since I can't take classes in person. Because of that I don't really have ppl around my age to talk to about it or to exchange technique feedback with. Does anyone know of any other online communities, active forums, or student groups apart from this one that I could join?

Looking for any advice on how I can start drag

I've tried doing some basic drag looks and loved it. I'm 17 rn and have wanted to try performing when I'm older. I wanna know if there are any other things apart from makeup and dance I should try and learn right now, like sewing, etc.
