Motherboard is just going to be a 100 dollar (give or take) msi board. And yes, the ram is low. This is just so i can get my jellyfin and other self hosted services up and running. Game servers will come later.

Whats the absolute best cpu i could get that wont idle at say 50w or something absurd (be it amd or intel) i dint mind if it jumps up when its in use.

Would it be possible to have a non mac computer as the "brain" of my home server, and have everything connected to it? So far im thinking of having a das connected to it so i can run jellyfin. And if the above is possible, high ram macs for AI (yes i know they are absurdly expensive).
