This is a long shot, but any other disabled chasers?

I have a traumatic brain injury that makes it so that I can’t drive as much as I would like to. So I need to wait for storms that are in my area. I end up seeing some really cool things, but there’s a part of me that wishes I could drive further. Any other chasers who have disabilities?

NC Law

It looks like the 50% in person law is in effect in NC. However, we have not been given any additional information and apparently there are some aspects of the law that aren’t finalized yet. Can someone bring me up to speed on where your organizations are with this?

Wanted to share my first chase - June 1 LaSalle, CO

I’m a therapist and I had a client last minute cancel just as I saw the warnings in the weather watch app. Almost felt like a sign. I’d been wanting to do this forever and have been learning for months and finally decided to go for it. 10/10 life affirming experience.

Getting Started and Staying Local

Hi all. First off, thank you for the awesome and amazing work you do. Y’all are badass. I live in northern Colorado around Greeley and I would love to start observing the weather more intentionally. Where would you recommend I start? I’m not far from east Colorado. I don’t need to see anything like a tornado, but I’d love to see some cool storms. Thanks in advance!

Visual Focus

I sustained a traumatic brain injury in 2022 and one of the biggest residual symptoms is visual focus issues that very often trigger debilitating silent migraines. I got my vision tested and they said I have 2020 vision and that my visual focus issues stem from the brain injury, and not from anything wrong with my eye. Glasses help, but it’s not really avoidable for me to experience migraines if they are triggered by eye movement or difficulty focusing my eyes. Has anybody experienced this? Have you had success with vision therapy? I have been told mixed things.

Did anyone else endure the grad ceremony at Moby?

Like that was the greatest amount of sheer chaos I’ve ever experienced in my life. Starting an hour late, not having enough chairs for the graduates, mixing up the order of the graduates on the stage, and then getting an email halfway through blaming everything on the weather. Major shout out to the faculty who stepped up and made sure all the graduates had water and weren’t overheating and helping the staff direct the flow of foot traffic. And to the brass band that had to play for 42 straight minutes as they figure out how to fit all the graduates in the arena.
