[NC] [TH] Pest Control

I started seeing flying ants in my unit recently and was afraid it might have been termites. I checked my HOA guidebook and it was written that inspections were done annually, and that I would be notified by a managing agent to schedule a time.

The problem is that I have never been notified before and I've lived in the unit for 2 years already. When I contacted my HOA company to get someone sent out, I was told that "we did the inspection in January and February of this year. You should find a pest control company and tell us if there's termites"

Can I do anything about this? Should I just take a financial hit? Or was there some kind of sign up website I was suppose to use but somehow missed?

NC, 2nd floor bedroom that faces a Forest. Recently saw a few flying ants and I'm scared its termites

I did search up a few pictures of termites, but they don't look like the ones on Google images. No frass(?) Or mud tunnels. Just cracks and holes, its not in any of the other rooms and I tapped on the bedroom walls and nothing feels "weak"

I did have a leaking roof that was fixed by the hoa (took a few months) because i live in a town home. I don't hear any knocking at night and no "wings" at that i can see at the window sill

Sorry i'm just very afraid of bugs and would like either reassurance or confirmation so I can plan my next steps

Angelica from 'Hamilton the Musical' was totally fine with Alexander cheating as long as he was cheating with her

I was listening to Hamilton today and I realize that throughout the musical Angelica would basically rant and rave about how Alexander was soooo handsome and how she can't "forget his eyes at night" or when she was crashing out about how he "wrote a comma after dearest and that changed the whole meaning".

And then the Reynolds Pamphlet came out and suddenly she was like "how dare you cheat on my precious little sister, this is horrid behavior I can't believe you!"

And I think that's very hypocritical of her

Made some valorant dolls from Medaami and here are my thoughts (and also a thank you post for the people who helped me

I'm remaking the first one because of how disproportioned her head is (this may be due to user error), but I feel like the second one turned out pretty well.

I was *not* expecting to already know how to embroider or have felt/wire lying around but I feel like overall their pattern is really well made.

There was a small hiccup when I was making the hair to the second doll, but the nice redditers of this sub help me figure it out!

Overall, if anyone is looking to purchase the pattern from this seller I would say go for it if you think the price is worth it (I paid 4.50 each)

Lap blanket of this pattern: yay or nay?

Not sure which tag this would be under but I wanted to know if this pattern would be "too busy" before I fully commit

Im thinking of crocheting a little amigurumi doll of my sister when she goes off to college. Something small, maybe a Keychain attached? Im not sure about this part yet

I would say my skills are beginner-intermediate? Nothing I would call "pretty" but I've made those reversible flower dolls before as well as dinosaur stuffies (all decently big), and a popout mushroom keychain
