E46 vert, first roll of Pinhole film. Fugi across 100

First try at pinhole

u/Aught_To — 15 days ago

My first roll of Pinhole. 35mm from Ranica frame. Fugifilm Acros 100.

My first try at pinhole 35mm. I did not eclectic much, but of the 36 shots these 3 were the best. It seems I was under exposure time more often than over, but it is a fair start and I learned a lot for my next roll.

F-16 Thunderbirds. 1:48 Tamiya

Finished this one last night. Shout out to the guy who makes SupaStands. The acrylic clear flight stand is perfect for this bird. It also has a fully done up cockpit with Eduard PE which is nearly impossible to see now.

X-29 1:72, Hasegawa kit.

Just finished the x29 from hasegawa again. My second shot at this kit. Its pretty cheap 11$ in my case. Anyway the first one i did i just kind of missed on, decals were hard, panel lines too shallow to fill.. just issues.

So I was building the Tamiya f16 in Thunder Birds Scheme, so I figured if I had my white red and blue out.. why not do 2? So while the big 48 bird was drying I also did this 72 demonstrater . It came out really nice this time, I spent a good bit of time in the cockpit, but you can't really photo that with a phone..

French Destroyer Duquense. 1:400 Heller kit

I won this beater of a model at a raffle at the last show I went to. I did my best but this was at best a fairly low detail and low quality kit. I must have used 8 sanding pads to get this presentable. Added some rigging, but otherwise what you see is from the kit.

Cat pulled down 2 shelves

Somehow the Canada f18 made it unscathed. The iron dome launcher i was complete for less than 24 hours. The f35 had won 3 regional gold medals, the sundowners f5 won 2 regional golds. Some hadnt even been to shows yet..

Iron Dome interceptor launch unit. 1/35 magic factory

Just finished the magic factory iron dome launcher. I dont normally build this kind of thing, but a good deal at a model show is hard to pass up. This was cool to build, lots of well fitting parts, clever engineering.. but a lot lot of sanding. Also.. two part decals, I think you aren't supposed to use setting solution on those, so I am short a few logos on the launch containers.

1:48 F-5E, italeri kit

Finished up last night.

Shout out to the other guy who made one in 72. We talked about hard edge vs soft edge and that got me to fix my camo. I had started out with using tape, but the edges were too hard, so I grabbed a lighter green and just hand airbrushed the edges to soften them.
