There's nothing wrong with STATICA

Like most of you here, I've been listening to this band for over two decades. Though they might never know it, they've been a part of my life through good times and really rough times. I haven't particularly liked every song they've released throughout the years, but I've continued to follow them and allow myself to experience the music they've worked hard to produce with an open mind.

Earlier this month another favorite band of mine, Galneryus, released their latest album. Those guys have hardly changed their sound over the course of 14 albums, and they continue to kill it with every single release. And though I enjoy listening to them release music I know I will love, and expect to sound a certain way, I would not stop listening if they veered off that path and tried something new.

The truth is, A7X has given me so much, I want nothing more for those guys but to enjoy what it is they do. If that means experimenting with genres most of us are not used to listening to, so be it. I have long given up expecting them to return to their old sound, and that shouldn't be the reason to stop listening to their music, at least not for me. It's their journey and we're there to enjoy it with them.
