James Gunn on the episodes of LANTERNS he's most excited for fans to see.

[Lanterns Official Trailer] This is a nitpick but I would prefer if he didn't call him Hal

Typically Sinestro only calls Hal 'Jordan', unless there is a specific reason like in Green Lantern (2011) #20.
Of course there could be a reasoning in the show such as Sinestro trying to manipulate Hal by befriending him but it won't hit hard because they haven't set the precedent of Sinestro only calling him 'Jordan'.

Top 20 Characters with the most appearance in Geoff Johns' Green Lantern Saga

Counting 272 comics from the Green Lantern Saga from Green Lantern: Rebirth till the Wrath of The First Lantern with surrounding comics also included.

Just finished Geoff John's Green Lantern run. Never thought a comic would make me cry.

Green Lantern (2011) #20 is the greatest issue of a comic that I've read. Everything coming together for the final time.
Here's the special moments from that issue.

Sayd... (Green lantern: New Guardians #15 [Rise of the Third Army])

Whether it be in the brightest of days or the blackest of nights, No evil escaped her might, those who worshipped evil’s might bewore her power, Sayd’s light!

I just read this right now and I'm feeling so sad especially because of Ganthet's soulless reaction.

How do you feel about John being raised to become a Green Lantern in the DCU?

(Lanterns | Opening Scene | HBO Max)
(Green Lantern Corps (2006) #3)
(Green Lantern (2005) #17)
From the released first 5 minutes of the show it is clear that John is being conditioned by his father to become a Green Lantern by making him fearless. Probably due to possible visit by a Guardian of the Universe.
In the comics there have been a few who tried their best to force a power ring on the finger namely Amon Sur and Ragnar, although they failed.

Green Lantern Movie (2011) Milk ad and website lmao

I found the ad in War Of The Green Lantern: Aftermath #1

The website isn't available but I was able to gain some information from these sources
(https://jeremybernstein.com/Got-Milk-LanternWorthy-com)

"Do you have what it takes to be a Green Lantern? Test your skills in three webcam-based challenges to see if you're worthy of the ring."

"Teens drink sodas and performance drinks in place of milk. To make milk "cool" again and remind them of the drink's health benefits, we created a series of augmented reality games based on the Green Lantern to take advantage of the Green Lantern movie release. LanternWorthy.com challenged teens to see if they had what it takes to be the next Green Lantern. Using a standard webcam, recruits underwent three performance tests: build a tower with blocks (strength), take an oddly shaped object and rotate it into a keyhole (focus) and rotate a shield to protect a ring from yellow balls of light (agility) - all with simple hand gestures."

Is there any structured guide which I can do on a macbook?

This Black Hand story is creeping me out

(Blackest Night #7)
I'm glad that I chose not to skip these stories from the back of Blackest Night they are so good and this one is the best one yet

I'm surprised Larfleeze didn't complain that he didn't have an oath of his own

(Blackest Night #5)

Matthew Rhys would make a great Atrocitus

(Final Crisis: Rage of The Red Lanterns (2008) #1)

If ever done in live-action he would be a cgi character anyway so only voice matters.

I'm basing this fancast on Rhys's role as Dinosaurus in INVINCIBLE. He has both a heavy and sharp calm voice which can also become fierce quickly for moments of rage.

Clip of his voice (Invincible season 4 spoilers)

▲ 196 r/Dexter

(major Spoilers for the entire Breaking Bad universe) Dexter is completing all these endings??

In my mind there were only ever three possible endings for Dexter.

  1. Death
  2. Escaping and starting a new life
  3. Imprisonment

original dexter series ended with escape
dexter: new blood ended with death

leaving only one for resurrection.

Just watched Green Lantern: First Flight (2009) (spoilers)

Delightful! 3/5

The best thing was Sinestro. Victor Garber's voice suits him perfectly. He was also built up really well to be the ultimate threat - with his interrogations at the bar showing how his beliefs are pushing him too far. Hal was boooring tho.
The animation is pretty rough. At the end when Jordan was pulling the planets together it actually looked like a slideshow. The constructs are pretty lame mostly as well. But I could personally ignore the animation.
The beginning it felt a little rushed. With a few errors being made like how did Hal know about Kanjar Ro when talking to Boodikka??

Please let us see this moment in Lanterns (spoiler from trailer)

(From Green Lantern (2005) #3)
This moment has been stuck in my head for so long it's amazing.
An Old Manhunter feels fear for the first time as it is about to self-destruct.
