I am a passionate shark tooth hunter. It is easy to collect shark teeth on US beaches, but how about european spots like Cadzand, Antwerpen and other areas in the Netherlands/Belgium? Is someone here experienced regarding these areas and could give mit some useful infor? I will be in Cadzand next week.

Apparently a swimmer was attacked by a blacktip shark. Does anybody have more information on this incident? Was it already reported?

According to the german wikipedia page on ocean white tip shark, a specimen was caught 1978 in the channels of Venice (Italy). It appears to be one of two documented incidents of longimanus in the mediterranean.
Does somebody have more information on the credibility of this story? Is there fotografic evidence of the catch?
