Tau's wording in the new CP detachment is a bit confusing

It states "once per battle, per army" - so is this literally a one time use on a unit I select, but the effect stays until the end of battle or until the selected enemy unit dies?

Also does the initial friendly unit also get the +1 AP? Or everyone else that shoots the selected enemy unit?

Would a Katana-50 EX Gen 3 an upgrade from a Fender Mustang v2?

Looking to update my Fender Mustang v2 50w amp. My biggest issue is that it has no true clean mode.

Lately I've really been investing and branching out to pedals: heavy menace distortion, boss eq ge-7, jhs delay, and flamma fs01 drum/looper.

So my main distortion will be from the heavy menace pedal and looking for a solid amp for this — awhile using eq knobs on the amp to really dial in a tone.

Would this Katana make sense and an upgrade to my current Mustang? Or am I looking at the wrong amp

Best metal amp (clean channel + pedals) for a bedroom guitarist?

I've slowly been upgrading my equipment and at the point now where my current amp, Fender Mustang v2, is holding me back.

I spent a decent amount of money on pedals to dial in my tone for metal - specifically metalcore: Empress Heavy Menace, Boss EQ, JHS Delay, etc.

I want to upgrade my amp to something with a true clean channel but can still adjust some eq settings on the amp itself, all while being able to utilize my current pedal chain.

Im seeing the Boss Katana is wildly recommended, especially for a bedroom player. But would it be a waste if Im building my tone using pedals?

Is the Boss Katana amp worth it if I'm only going to really use the clean channel?

Im sure at some point ill play with the settings it has but 99% of the time it'll be on the clean channel.

Would love to get some thoughts or possibly another amp to look into for playing metal as a bedroom player. I won't be playing gigs or in a bed but constantly chasing and building my tone.

Still no info on book 2 of the Scouring?

Ashes of the Imperium was such a great read and start for the Scouring. Really surprised, other than the hints within the book, that there is no road map or hints of the next books in the series.

How do you decide what pickups to get?

So many players seem to know their pickups but to me, these arent easily switchable compared to strings.

I took the time to experiment with strings to learn about materials, thickness, and tone it brings. But pickups? That's a whole other world and for the average person, permanent - not only how they need to be placed but the cost involved as well.

How did you learn what pickups do what, how it changes the tone, and how did you know it was the pickups that changed the tone and not just the guitars body or strings at the time?

For reference, I have an Ibanez RGA42EX and would love to upgrade the pickups. I play mostly play metalcore, hard rock, and post grunge.

Picking up two cases - do you tip?

Already spending $60 + tax for two cases. Just curious where do people stand on tipping for something you pick up?

I view it as food take-out and dont tip but does this translate to breweries?

Obviously if I was having a few pours at the brewery, I tip.
