The Genevieve doll that I accidentally found at a flea market
And I'm not just talking about the playline segment and the 'Millie epidemic,' but about various lines in general... Right now there is a huge variety of Barbies with different, interesting faces, but they just don't grab me... even the most beautiful modern Barbies don't evoke any warm emotions. I had a really cool Barbie Extra #10, which I sold despite how awesome she looked.
My wishlist is full of Barbies from the 90s, 2000s, and 2010s—especially the 2000s. They give me such warm feelings.
There is a slight skin tone mismatch, but it's even less noticeable in person. To me, the doll has truly come to life! Now I don't know whether to leave her in a modern casual look or make her canonical
I only have two Ever After High dolls in my collection, and they’ve been with me since childhood.
There's Ashlynn, though she’s not wearing her original dress, and Briar Beauty, who is in almost perfect condition, except she sadly lost her glasses. (( Ashlynn originally came in a two-pack with Hunter, but I decided to sell him back then.
I absolutely adore these two and I’m so happy I kept them all these years. Honestly, I don't really have the desire to buy more EAH dolls right now since my priorities have shifted to other doll lines. But having just these two is more than enough for me - they are my sweet memory of this amazing show!
Personally, my favorites are always Ariel and Cinderella, they just always seem to look stunning.
My absolute favorite princess is Belle, but sadly, I’m really not a fan of her current face sculpt...
