I feel like this is the perfect genre to tackle this sort of problem. Basically imposter syndrome would be when MC has finally progressed to a high enough level within the story but still feels like a loser because they think all their victories were just the result of dumb luck or some cosmic coincidence. The only example i can think of is in a record of a mortal’s journey to immortality. >!During Han li’s nascent soul ascension he faces a heart demon that tells him that tells him that everything he accomplished was just the result of his green bottle and that he himself would be nothing without it!<
