So it looks like the rats and the press have entered their FAFO therapy phase and are now writing about how much they feel attacked 😂 Oh, the irony.

This should then catalyse calls for Leveson 2, no? Tougher press regulation to address the longstanding illegal activities and torment committed by some parts of the press?

As for Antonia, why did she feel the need to write a “light-hearted“ piece about Meghan in the first place? She wanted clicks? Does she know Meghan? Why did she feel the need to pile-on and write about a woman whom the press has turned tormenting her into a national sport? Just like the misogynistic vicar Daniel French who has been brainwashed by the press into treating Meghan as a caricature and not a human being.

Antonia needs to have some fact-checking in her article as she omits the very important detail that Meghan’s advent calendar was not sold in the UK, yet the shit-stirring vicar overlooked this inconvenient fact and decided to make sport of her and prove what an idiot he was.

It’s not 2016 anymore. The misogyny and racism are plain to see - explicitly encouraged by the Palaces to deflect from their mediocre parasitic principals. And if the tears Antonia have shed can’t help her see that, then she remains part of the press problem.

Antonia is just another cog in the wheel in the industrial hate machine that continues to turn and produce bile against the Sussexes daily. Meghan’s supporters are not silenced, and they’ll be heard every time members of the press decide to turn her into click bait for every article they produce. So Antonia, deal with it. You write an opinion about Meghan, you will get a response.

The coffee they do is superb, so I didn’t mind taking a detour to buy another of their sweets haul. People watching at Great North Road is always fascinating. ☕️

First “Too Good To Go” haul, Harris Farm, Drummoyne (Sydney) $14.99

I came across the post on this app and was pleasantly surprised that I have retailers nearby that are on the app already. So I tried my luck today and the experience really feels that it is a lucky dip 😂

This haul cost me $14.99 with the advertised normal price of $45.

I was given five items: 2 x ready to go meals, 1 coconut pieces, 1 dip veggies and 1 garlic bread. Definitely not like the £2.99 Greggs haul I’m seeing on the r/toogoodtogo

Retail price v reduced price v TGTG price:

$45.45 v $22.75 v $14.99

They’re all about to expire and I must admit some of the Colesworth discounted goods tend to have a higher markdown at closing time especially when it comes to protein.

But the app was the novelty factor for me. Will I buy this again? Probably not. But do I support it? Yes, I do. It basically transfers the food waste problem from the retailer to the consumer. It’s market economics working food waste style.

I’ll now have to find some recipes to deal with the leftover veggies, and we managed to have a nice ready to meal. We still have the garlic bread to eat so this haul will last us two days.

I’ll probably use this app again when I’m out and about and I’m open to new food experiences so may venture into trying some of the restaurant leftovers. The app rating is giving me a good indication of the quality of products so I think I’ll focus on retailers that have the 4 stars and up.

Ideally, the next step for this app is to have an auction type of thing going on, minimum bidding at 99 cents with the retailer posting photos of the food. But I can dream.

Looking for the Percy backpack

I’m looking for the Percy backpack or something similar - Australian made leather. It was only for a short time on the RMW website and didn’t get the chance to feel the thickness and quality of the leather in store. If anyone else managed to buy it, I’d be interested in your review of it and photos of the interior.
