"What if i just... stop being picky...?"
Ive always been a picky eater. Tbf meals as a kid were.... not good... not like we were served unhealthy foods, its just, im Dutch and esp. in the eighties it was potatoes, a piece of meat and some veggies. And the veggies all were boiled into the same unidentifyable blob of goo... (sorry mum, love you). So, i was picky...
As i grew up ive grown a lot, massive credits to my first partner and his parents, but ive remained a bit picky... eating around some stuffs, and always ordered food "leave out this, leave out that".
Just this week i just has a sudden realisation... i knowknow i really just dont like certain flavours (anything pickled is just not my jam) but other than that... whý am i eating around some healthy parts of meals...? What if i dont do that anymore...?
I was served my mum in laws eggrolls and instead of eating around some greens in there is decided "im just gonna eat it whole and see if i really dont like it". And i did and it was tasty as hell...
Ive been on ozempic for over a year and it influences so much of my behaviors and now even one year in its stíll having effects like this!
I know one snack isnt that big a deal but it felt like such a shift in my mindset and im gonna continue being more relaxed and "just eat it all" for the more healthy ingrediënts to come!
Anyone relate?
