Feeling like my toxic family actively sabotaged my life, and now I’m drowning in the fallout. I feel cursed.

I honestly don't even know where to begin, but I am at absolute breaking point and feel like I’m losing my mind. I feel entirely cursed, like every time I try to stand on my own two feet, the ground gets pulled out from under me—and a massive part of that stems from the toxic, deeply cruel family dynamic I’ve been dealing with my whole life.
Growing up, I was always the target. My dad was a constant bully who put me down, mocked my ambitions and creative dreams, and treated me completely differently from my younger brother, who was supported endlessly. Whenever I tried to build a life for myself, my family found ways to undermine me. When I moved back home temporarily after uni thinking they would help me, the bullying got so bad I had to pack my things into bin bags and flee in tears. No one fought to get me back; they just formed a family unit without me. Even during family losses and major life events, I was systematically excluded, left behind, or treated with chilling indifference—and when I've tried to speak up about how cruel they've been, my family just gaslights me, tells me I'm overreacting, or that I'm "not really part of the family anymore."
That emotional exhaustion has bled into every other area of my life. Over the last year, my life has completely unraveled. I caught pneumonia which lasted for months, causing me to lose a job I desperately needed. That triggered a cascade of financial trouble, mounting debt, and having to drop out of university. To survive, I started my own business. It was going okay, and last month I finally landed my first two big clients—only for things to go sideways, leaving me even deeper in debt and dealing with constant calls from creditors, while my family just feeds me negativity and tells me it won't work out.
On top of the financial stress and family trauma, my physical environment is suffocating. I am literally confined to working from one single room all day, every day, with zero change of scenery. It feels like a psychological prison. My brain is trapped in a constant loop of panic, depression, and anxiety, and I've spent the last two days stuck in bed simply because I am entirely depleted.
I have a supportive partner who tells me we'll get through this rough patch, but I feel so physically and mentally exhausted that I don't even know how to function anymore. I started therapy, but the current setup hasn't been helpful at all.
When your own family treats you like you're disposable, and the rest of your life caves in with illness and debt all at once, how on earth do you break the cycle and start to climb out? I feel like I'm drowning.
