Should Embraer downgrade the E175-E2 Payload and Fuel capacity in order to fit the Scope Clauses? And call it E170-E2?

I noticed that Bombardier did something similar with the CRJ700, downgrading it to the CRJ550 by reducing its seating capacity and payload to comply with U.S. Scope Clauses. I thought Embraer could do the same with the 175-E2: reduce the seat count (from 80~90) to 76, reduce the cargo capacity from 23,400 lb to 18,055 lb, and reduce the fuel capacity from 18,788 lb to 11,833 lb, thereby achieving the Maximum Takeoff Weight of 86,000 lb required by the Scope Clauses (down from 98,300 lb). Perhaps, with this reduction in Maximum Takeoff Weight, even the smaller engine variant from the Pratt & Whitney family (PW1200G) could be utilized.
