So we all know the Wolf trilogy was all a figment of Tyler's imagination, but my question is what the fuck was Tyler doing in reality during this whole thing?

We know his journey from Bastard to CFG to TC's office, but while Tyler was talking to figments of his imagination and exploring the camp and stuff what was he doing in real life? Sleeping?

This probably makes zero sense, but it just itches at me. There's no way during this whole trilogy that's all in his mind that he's just sitting in bed at home or something.
