Botched G10 Repair

I brought this watch in for a simple repair: the second hand needed to be reset and then it needed a pressure test. The first picture shows the state I left it in, the second picture shows the condition they tried to return it to me. This place had great reviews and was actually recommended by MWC themselves.

As you can see, the watch face is full of debris (including a hair) and the tritium glass vial on the 9 o’clock has been broken and sloppily superglued back into place at an angle. I pointed all this out and the lady at the counter profusely apologized and let me know that their watch guy would take another look and fix it.

My question is, do you think I should demand that they just buy me a new watch? I’m not sure I trust their work especially when I need a pressure test which I can’t whole test the quality of.

Why isn’t this CWC replica more popular?

Hey all, I need a field/tool watch that I can actually use in extreme conditions. I found this one and it seems to tick all my boxes: titanium case, sapphire glass, >200m wr, quartz, reg and military time, tritium lume, and not an unreasonable amount of shit on the dial. All for under $500, this seems to be a great deal (if not, correct me and send me some better options).

Apparently MWC makes high quality replicas of popular CWC G10s. I don’t believe this is “Swiss-made” but it does have Swiss Ronda 715li movement. And from some documents I’ve found, MWC has the MOD contract for the British armed forces. It even has a 10 year battery life: this is pretty much everything I want.

But whatever reason, I can’t find much on this watch in terms of reviews. I see a ton of stuff on the lower quality $50-$100 watches MWC makes, but nothing on this caliber. I can’t seem to find anything else under $500 that meets my above requirements, is there something I’m missing? I’d appreciate any insight you all have.
