Things from Rebels I'd love to see more of in S2

  1. Ezra trolling people with his voice mimicry ability. It's neat he has a honed skill completely seperate from his Jedi Training.

  2. Anti-Jedi/Sith Mandalorian gear. I feel like Sabine's gonna need it going up against Baylan and Hati, and maybe the Nightsisters.

  3. Chopper's many war crimes.

  4. Hera's Kalikori with Kannan's pendant. Don't remember seeing it in season 1.

Edit: 5. Return of the Blaster-lightsaber.

Having trouble ibtroducing my girlfriend to the faith :(

Title. Basically, I've been dating this non-member girl for a while now and really care for her, so I wanted to take explorations of faith slowly. (She's believes in a mix of Jewish and Christian doctrines).

However, it seems like Anti/hateful ExMo content got to it first - specifically this reel about how church membership "works": https://www.instagram.com/reel/DbMJ4XLgT15/?igsh=aWdkZjhyZXJ4bXN5

Now she thinks we stalk any and all inactive or removed members, andthat we make it hard to leave on purpose :(

I'm going to have a chat with my bishop on how to proceed in discussion, but I figure I'd also probe the hivemind here for advice lol.

I feel like I invested in the "wrong" field but it's too late to do anything about it.

I guess I just feel lost, mostly. I've been coding in some way ro another since I was in 6th grade learning the basics of Python. I'm now a college graduate drudging through the hell of constantly applying to IT or CyberSec (my degree) jobs. And I feel like I'm going nowhere.

I've had countless email rejections or ghostings, interviews that end up going nowhere, tried bootcamps to bolster my skills, and even done a few projects.

But what really sucks is that I see that my Uni classmates have all landed jobs in the field, so it makes me feel left behind, in a way.

I wish I'd done things differently and had taken summer jobs or internships between college years, but I was a dumb kid who thought a degree would be enough.

And now I don't know where to go from here. I could use some advice for those who have jobs in the field or have been in similar situations - anything could help at this point.

Quest order and Rune help!

So, I did the quest that freed the Stag Spirit and Deora without talking to the map ancestor first.

So now I don't have any runes that match my weapon types.

Ya'll got any suggestions on how to get Runes for Staffs, or if there's a Courage/Spirit weapon type I should be going for? (Looking to go into more of a a spellblade build)

[TFS Spoiler] How could a Hive/Krill player race work in a D3?

This is something I've kinda wondered since we've started making allies with enemy races. I was hoping to see at least one Lucent Brood in the Tower lol. Eliskni and Cabal are fairly easy to think of as player Guardians with House Light and Caiatl's subjects becoming Lightbearers/Guardians, but the Hive feel like a different story.

I mean, even during TFS, the Lucent Brood aren't exactly our allies, and Luzaku has to actively defect in order to help us - the LB showing up in Excision notwithstanding.

Maybe a few Hive will start tithing to Eris, die bc she doesn't work on tithes, then get rezzed? Or Savathan actively strikes a deal woth the Vanguard somehow? (Unlikely)

Question for a fanfic project

So, ever since I've gotten into Warhammer thanks to Darkatide & The Eisenhorn Omnibus (still need to finish it), and learned about the different Astartes sects - I wonder how a relationship (friendly platonic or romantic) between a Salamander and a Hospitaller Sororitas would work, if it even would?

Because from one of the Warhammer+ shows, I forget the name, we know that Salamanders and Sisters of Battle don't exactly get along or agree on how to handle civilians.

But given how Order Hospitaller Sororitas also seem to deeply care for the average civilian and soldier, I think a story could be found there somehow.

Anyway, what are ya'll's thoughts? And are there any suggestions you can think of?

Tips for The Chaperone quest? (Blast From The Past)

Title. I'm on the part where I need to get precision or shotgun defeats in either Gambit or Crucible. But the Gambit route is going very slow and I hate Crucible lol.

Ya'll got any tips for the quest?

Jax being trans doesn't sit right with me. Here's why.

Title. But before I say anything, I need to preface - this isn't coming from a place of transphobia. I've had good and bad experiences with trans ppl, and wonderful conversations with those whom I consider friends.

But anyway, I don't think I like the semi-confirmation that Jax is trans and how the community at large has ran with it. Because to me, Jax's story is more about his struggles with genuinely toxic masculinity and (thanks to the bow scene) his more feminine interests.

Because toxic masculinity tells men to handle things themselves, never ask for help, never reach out, etc. And that's exactly what Leroy's mom taught him when we shared what he wanted to - which I think was more about possible suicidal ideas or general mental health struggles. Hence the hug after she laughed. A "you poor baby" type thing.

As much as I don't like how sudden it was, Jax's abstraction is a direct result of that mindset.

Despite being her self-insert, Goose making Jax trans is maybe unintentionally feeding into that as well by saying "this male character can't just have feminine or soft interests, they must be a women in doubt." Which imo is just as toxic. Every guy has struggled with being vulnerable in some way through thier life. So Goose/the fandom saying "the only way for this person to be vulnerable and happy is to transition" feels off.

And to me, the "Isn't She Lovely" scene is more about Jax reevaluating his relationship with the women in his life in the circus- Ribbit, Ragatha, but most of all Pomni. Because every scene of that montage has to do with his relationship to Pomni in some way.

Trans or dysphoric characters can be well written, and Zooble is a good example of that for their body dysmorphia. But I don't think it works for Jax. For me, Jax at his best is when he's more of a femboy that a trans girl.

Tl;dr I'm a little dissapointed that Goose seemingly went the direction she did with Jax if her art *is* confirmation, but I don't think it destroys his arc up until then.

I'll try to answer any questions abt this ya'll have, so I hope this can be an honest discussion :)

I was hit with such a sense of melancholy and determination lol.

I was one of the players that had bounced off of the game after TFS, because it felt like a good ending point. But given... everything, I'd decided to redownload the game and see what's changed.

And then, the astronaut cutscene, the music, actually seeing Guardians in the Tower, even Shaw Han and his fraud self, it all reminded me of the best times I had with this game.

Managing to complete the Legacy Campigns right before Beyond Light, while doing the Season of Arrivals. Escalation Protocol on Mars (my beloved). Then banging out Strikes and Grandmasters bc I couldn't afford BL. Season of The Seraph giving us one of the best stories in Destiny (RIP Rasputin, you would've solo-d The Witness as a fellow Guardian.)

Uncovering the mystery of the Hive Lightbearers during Witch Queen, and being moved by Savathun's speech on the cliff.

Then, weilding Prismatic for the first time and *truly* feeling that Destiny magic in my bones, despite never completing a Raid or Dungeon. And of course, Nathan Fillion giving one laat performance as Cayde-6.

And even today, throwing my first Nova Bomb in months, and watching everything get sucked in. It just feels so good lol.

All that to say, it feels so good to be back, I wish it was under better circumstances. I'm not letting this game go until July lol.
