Corn Dog turns 1yo today. One of 100+ dogs/puppies rescued from a hoarding house

I work for a shelter. We took in 30 of the dogs from a gnarly hoarding case (over 100 dachshund mixes total). Corn Dog was the runt of one of the puppy litters.

I had ZERO desire to adopt a puppy again, and I've always been a large-dog guy, but there was just something about him, I couldn't say no. He's topped out at a whopping 11lbs and gives my lab and pitbull a run for their money.

Does anyone happen to know a CD compilation of The Move that doesn't sound terrible?

I discovered the Move last year, and love them, they mad some of the catchiest 60s pop ever. I've bought several different CD compilations, trying to find one that doesn't sound awful, but alas, I've had little luck.

I'm sure the original recordings weren't the best quality, but of the 1,300+ albums I own, including lots of cheaply-recorded 50s and 60s music, every single Move compilation is right at the bottom in terms of listenability. Most of the various tracks sound like someone just held a cheap microphone up to a cheap radio playing the songs, or something--it's that tinny, distorted, muffled, and disappointing to my ears.

Which sucks, because their songs are so good!

So I'm hoping someone might be able to recommend a specific CD compilation that has much better sound from what I've found so far. Or were the original recordings just really that godawfully terrible?

What I have:

THE MOVE COLLECTION (UK 1986)

THE BEST OF THE MOVE (GERMANY, 1997)

MOVEMENTS 30TH ANNIVERSARY ANTH. (1998 UK)

THE MOVE (UK, 2016)

MAGNETIC WAVES OF SOUND (UK 2017)

Thank you!!
