Kill this don't kill that, the real issue I haven't seen anyone talk about yet:We need to eat and drink way too often!

I am basically destroying the local ecosystems I live in by eating so many of the fish, and slugs. The decay rate for food and water satiety is wayyyyy too quick! It really gets in the way of exploring and the vibes of running away from the collector squid and all the sudden there's a "seek caloric intake" message that appears.

Humans can go weeks without eating and still survive, and a couple days without water, we shouldn't be dying of starvation because missed 3rd dinner and 1st dessert!

**The scenario:** For those who haven't read Dungeon crawler Carl the basic gist is, one night in the middle of winter nearly every building on the planet and everything inside gets smooshed, those who survived by being outside are faced with a choice. You may make your way into a newly appeared stairwell into the earth and join an intra galactic gameshow televised across the cosmos which is basically a DnD style dungeon crawl down many levels (18 levels) in a dungeon that can house billions of people with some levels even being entire world spaces with artificial sunlight and "NPCs". The goal is to descend as many floors as you can, facing more dangerous foes as you go, but also gaining power along the way. The further you make it the better of a life you'll have outside of the dungeon, and if you make it to a certain level you can even reclaim your home world. The other option is to stay above in the cold night in the dead of winter, in a world of 8 billion people now without any infrastructure whatsoever other than the outdoor farms (with no equipment to farm with).

**What I think happens by splat:**

  1. Vampires, kindred will survive entirely based on which side of the planet they're on, those in the night portion of the world have a chance to live, those in the daylight portion will be repurposed into "NPCs" when they're crushed. Surprisingly I think kindred might be more likely than not to survive and go into the dungeon.

  2. Fera, those who prefer to live in the wilderness are probably golden, this is a wet dream for most group, as all of their non fera enemies likely just died. And there is no longer any industry or civilization to pollute the world. I can still see some choosing to enter the dungeon, but honestly they're gonna be pretty happy.

  3. Mages, technocracy in shambles, every defense they had failed, the consensus now includes alien life in the mix given what happened. The traditions are initially ecstatic. Probably the best off splat though as they could probably magick infrastructure back.

  4. Wraiths, they're all fucked. Not too familiar with the Splat, but every nearly wraith just had their fetters destroyed which afaik is a bad thing.

  5. Changelings, probably a lot of nightmare glamor suddenly enters the world, I could see Arcadia being able to open back up, but it would be a dark thing indeed.

  6. The Fallen, the earthbound except for kupala are also all fucked the normal fallen inside human hosts are probably alright.

  7. The Kine, if you go you're fucked. If you stay you'll will very likely starved to death alongside billions of people. If you go inside you will likely be killed by a sapient, meth addicted llama "mob". Sadly the bad llama is your best bet.

What do y'all think? Do I have something wrong here, do y'all think something would go differently for a given splat? Lemme know!

I wish that all fiction books were portals into the worlds described inside them, with people just as real as we are inside, and that we could safely travel between those worlds and our own!

So my favorite play style to do is a Xenophilic militarist dictatorship, stealing all of the xenos to give them utopian living standards, and wage war across the galaxy.

But historically dictatorships like that tend to be quite xenophobic. So how would that look like, what do you imagine the day to day would look like in such a society? What material conditions would need to occur to incentivize xenophilia over xenophobia? Thoughts?

Thinking of doing a FREE oneshot for people probably VTM 20th or something, it would be an in-person game, probably 5 to 6 people, and on a Sunday. (I always have Sunday and Monday off)

All you would need is a laptop or a large tablet that could connect to a Foundry server. If you'd like to bring some dice VTM only uses D10s and you'd want 10 to 20 of them. If you don't have them, well that's what the foundry is for.

We could either play at tap n roll, book a room at the regional library, or if one of y'all are willing to play host that would be nice.

If youre interested in playing either comment below or send me a DM, once we have enough people we can schedule something!
