Called mini they say I can only get a blade made w/out convenience buttons. Is this true? Secondly are these AliExpress fobs BS?

Dusty, musty and shabby but I bought it anyway. My neighbor didn’t charge me for the giant bird shit on the hood, so I got that going for me.

Looking for a sanity check before I tear back into it.

I just rebuilt the entire fuel delivery system on my S2R 800: new fuel pump, new fuel filter, fresh fuel, and brand-new NGK plugs. I can clearly hear the pump prime when I turn the key.

The engine will occasionally give a weak fire, but it never actually starts. I’ve tried a jump pack, and I’m having the battery load-tested today just to rule that out.

One thing I’m wondering about: I only put about 1 gallon of fuel in the tank since I figured I might have to drain it again. Is that enough for the pump pickup on these bikes, or could the low fuel level be contributing to the no-start?

Anything else you’d check before I pull the tank back off?

I have a few of these Cree XP-G2 R5 LED brass 110 lumen flashlights I picked up when Drop was cool and fun (RIP) which do you prefer polished and clean or with patina?

Has anyone added tire balance weights, tennis racket tape or putty and run iPod through TSA scanners? I thought if it after I mounted these, wonder if it’s going to be an issue.?

I’m currently modding two Gen 3 classics. The “warm” one was purchased new - by me (it looks faded in pic but has good detail/contrast) and I still have the box. The blue tint is an auction buy and I’m thinking of swapping screens.
