Recently applied for ASE role, and natanggap naman po.

I tried to negotiate with my recruiter, particularly about incentives/allowances for Latin honors. Pero sadly, sabi niya is nagkaroon daw ng updates and that wala na ang ACE Program. He said he'll update us (kahit mag-sign na daw sa current contract) pag may ACE program na and magiging panibagong contract daw ulit yun.

Idk if niloloko na ko ng recruiter at this point. 30 days ago, may mga nakakapasok ng ACE program. Gusto ko lang po i-confirm if talaga bang wala na ang ACE?

Hi, normal po ba na need agad ma-sign ang JO/CONTRACT? Minamadali kasi ako ng recruiter para daw ma-forward na sa onboarding. He had the Final Interview/JO Discussion kaninang morning then he sent the contract and everything this afternoon. He is pushing us (marami po kaming nasa JO Discussion kanina sabay sabay) na matapos nang i-sign ang mga documents including the contract within the day (Saturday).
Also, as a Latin graduate, wala pong namention na additional allowance for it. The offer was 21k + 2.8k de minimis. Ano pong need imention kay recruiter to increase the gross pay per month? Meron din po bang extra allowance for licensed inviduals? Thank you!

In terms of advancement, obviously gen 5 is the “best” since mas bago siya. Wala pa ako masyadong mabasa online about gen 5 pros and cons in comparison to gen 4.

In terms of durability, is gen 5 more durable than gen 4? Or gen 5 has the core longevity similar to gen 2-3 paddles?

What’s your thoughts on gen 5 paddles?

Hi, I'm an ECE Graduate and a passer of the board exam last March. Mag-ask lang po ako, what field should I pursue? I tried applying to Software Engineer roles, but no luck. Gusto ko talaga yung ICT field, kaso it looks like companies prefer CompSci, CompEng, and IT fresh grads.

Triny ko humanap ng mga network-related roles such as NOC Engineer pero puro 2-3years exp ang hanap nila and/or with CCNA. I currently don't have the budget to pursue CCNA by myself kaya naghahanap ako ng entry-level roles na I think would provide training and credentials to boost my career.

• What roles should I target in the field of ICT?
• What other fields/alternatives can I pursue (also what roles)?

Things I'm currently interested in: Cloud and Network Infrastructures, Machine Learning, Data Engineering / Data Analytics
