I had no idea this was a real word
I had always assumed it was a name that Matt made up for the campaign. Turns out it’s an actual word for a specific type of residue, which works given how it’s used in the context of the show.

Does anyone recognize the path to number one?
I do industrial work in-house at a factory. I generally turn down side work because smaller stuff isn’t worth the time and hassle and I don’t want to endanger my license. But since I got my master’s license people have been floating bigger jobs my way, and it’s honestly tempting. These are jobs that would definitely attract the attention of the city, so if I do it I want to do it right. I know I would need to get my electrical contractor license and an insurance policy.
Does anyone here have experience starting a one man operation on the side? Am I ridiculous for considering this?

So my son and I like to look for out of state license plates while we drive around on errands. One thing we’ve noticed is that we see a lot more Texas and Florida plates than I would have expected. Tennessee, Indiana, Illinois I expect since we are so close. Lots of Michigan plates because of the GM plant. But Florida and Texas I have no explanation for. If you are from either of those places, how did you wind up in BG?
I was driving my 5 year old son home from school yesterday when we passed this huge house with a massive front yard. Probably 2+ acres, all of it mowed. My son looked at it and said “Daddy, is that a field?”
I said “No bud, that’s just a big yard.”
Then he said “They don’t have a playground.” We have a little slide/swingset combo in the backyard that he calls his playground.
I said “That’s kind of silly isn’t it? All that yard and no place to play.”
He thought about it for a bit and just said “That’s sad.”
Then he started pointing out houses that didn’t have swing sets, and I explained that we are very lucky to have one, and not everyone can have one.
When we were almost home he saw a yard with a slide and got really excited about it.
“Daddy Daddy, they have a playground too!! That makes me happy.”
It’s fun to see the connections they make. Little dude has a whole class system in his head based on playground equipment.
