Just scored my setup on Facebook marketplace

My first surround sound setup since about 2005 ish. Back then used to buy the little home theater in the boxes with the 5.1 setup the little satellites and mini sub. I've had soundbars in between then and now. When it cools down in the fall I'm going to mount the rear speakers and the front height speakers up on the walls when I can run wires in the Attic. Right now it's 105 outside. Probably 140 in the Attic and that's just too hot for me. #tvtoohigh

So I got:

2 RP-8000F

1 RP-504C

2 RP-500M

2 RP-500SA

2 SPL-120

Yamaha RX-V6A

All for 1250.00 and the dude help me set it up.

The guy found out he is deploying. Wanted some quick cash and said he was going to upgrade when he got back. Wanted $1500 but I shot $1250 at him and he took it. Dude's a good guy fighting for our country. What's the most hilarious is his wife is my wife's new BFF.

Is this a good price if it all works?

I just came across a set of klipsch speakers and avr on marketplace.

Yamaha V6A AVR,

Klipsch rp 8000 x2,

Klipsch rp 504c,

Klipsch rp 500m x2,

Klipsch rp 500sa x2, and

Klipsch spl-120 x2

1500.00 obo

I'm talking to the guy today and he has it set up so I can check it out before I buy it. He said he's deploying out and won't have space or need for it. He just wants to get some quick cash before he moves.

Just want to double-check to see if this is decent enough for a starter setup.

Ideas for surround sound system for my not ideal TV room.

The "room" is my loft area it was a dual purpose office /tv space. Changed the spare/guest bedroom to the office. Now we are using the loft as our dedicated TV room. It's 13'x14' but completely open to the stair area. Not sure what the best option might be for my budget ($2k) looking for a entryish level avr 5.1 system. I know it isn't a great space but it is what I got. TV is 85" tcl qm9k(got it free through my job because I won a contest) Right now it's a pretty clean slate. Wife already bought the furniture she wants. So I need to come up with the surround sound.

My camping hammer.🔨

I didn't want to buy one the chineseium ones off Amazon and the one I wanted was something like 50 bucks. So I went down to Home Depot and checked out the hammers found this little 12 oz. Guy. This one is a 1/4" shorter and 1/8" thinner and the same at the head of the hammer Before I cut it up it was 100 grams heavier but after I cut it up it's it's only about 25 grams heavier now. But this one's basically indestructible and not aluminum. I've used it on my last couple camping trips and it's pretty awesome. I know people say use a rock, but I don't want to destroy my pegs and bend them up. This caliche here in Texas is pretty hard.

So when is Milwaukee going to come out with camping gear?

Nice clean park. It's 97 out but nice and cool in the shade.

Still waiting... I filed January 29th. I don't know what the hold up is or what is going on. I'm just waiting.

I still have no information. I received a 60 day letter back in February. I've called daily for 3 months. I can't figure out how to talk to a real person. It says I can't transfer to a representative and to check the website for the most up to date information. My local IRS office says to call the next business day. I don't know what to do. This is the first time I've had an issue with my return. Kinda crazy I don't know what is going on.

I'm a hoarder.

My system is a few years old but I don't really feel the need to upgrade. Ryzen 9 5900x, Radeon 7900XTX, 64GB ram. I like being surrounded by my junk.

Does the size of the capacitor really matter?

AC stopped cooling so I checked my capacitor it went out. I went to Home Depot the replacement they had matches specs but it's actually smaller. Is the technology just better? That's why it's smaller or what?

What is the CE rating on a beanie?

I mean it can't be rated that high. To be honest it is 90° out. A nice day for a ride.
