Hey everyone, looking for some guidance. I have some Arduino experience from college but I'm completely new to STM32 and embedded C.

My plan is to first get comfortable with STM32 basics (HAL-level, not bare-metal yet) before moving to bare-metal register-level programming later. Alongside that, I want to eventually get into TinyML/Edge AI on the same board.

Questions:

1. Which STM32 board is the best pick for a beginner coming from Arduino — easy enough to start with HAL/CubeMX, but also good enough to do TinyML later (onboard sensors would help)?

2. Does it make sense to learn STM32 with HAL first and move to bare-metal later, or should I just start bare-metal from day one?

3. For TinyML specifically, is STM32Cube.AI the right tool to learn, or is there something better for a beginner?
