Agent pressuring me to waive inspection

UPDATE: Thank you everyone for the affirmation to not waive inspection, and also to those who provided differing perspectives. I genuinely appreciate ALL of the input. I am breaking up with my agent and going to look for a new one.

ORIGINAL: I haven't made any offers yet. I've been casually looking for a few months, and only gone to several showings. However, my agent has repeatedly brought up that many sales these days are made without an inspection. From the beginning, I said that I would rather miss an opportunity to buy a house than buy one without an inspection. She has reiterated to me that it may mean losing out to other offers. I haven't even found a house I like yet, let alone made an offer. I'm on the lower end of things budget-wise in my city as a single working class woman, so the places I'm looking at aren't the greatest in the first place. Is this normal for an agent to do? I get that they know houses and they know the market, but are they right that I'll have trouble getting an offer accepted?

I want to paint everything!!!

How do you decide which designs to narrow it down to??? I have such a hard time choosing because I paint all types of people and I want something for everyone. I try to keep it on theme if the event has a theme but my repertoire has just gotten so big that I have so many possibilities! Do you do variations on a theme when painting, or strictly according to the pictures on your board (if applicable)? How many designs do you offer for a festival? I'm painting per-face for this event. I want to offer 12 designs but when I list them out it just seems like so few!!!! Additionally, I feel like I'm still figuring out what people actually choose. I'm trying to start offering smaller designs for people who don't want full face/mask.

What to say to my friend when he gets on a negative rant?

I told my friend about a book I was reading that I thought he may be interested in. He proceeded to tell me why he doesn't like that kind of book (fine). Then goes on and on about how the type of people who read those books yadda yadda, then about people in general yadda yadda, for minutes straight while I haven't said anything. Finally I've had enough and say "if only everyone was more like you". (I know this was not the right thing to say!!!) His reply was "if that's what you got out of it, then you're an asshole". Which was also not nice to say. I know that we will smooth things over, but we haven't talked since. What is the right thing to say when someone is dominating conversation with criticisms? I'm just tired of hearing it. He's not always like this, but it's like once he gets going he's on that track.

What brand of brushes do you use?

I'm mostly using Blazin' brush right now, haven't really shopped around. I'm finding that my small rounds start to splay out pretty quickly. I do clean them thoroughly and have done the hot water trick. Is this just the way it goes, or are there brands less prone to this? I'm not particularly rough with them I don't think. If you have care tips that precent this, I'll take those too.

How to avoid "muddying" colors when layering?

I am practicing butterflies lately. I first do a sponge layer for the wings, then I go back in with a dagger brush to do an outline. However, I'm finding that the color gets muddied up with the color underneath, creating lesser impact. Is my brush too wet? Too dry? Not loaded enough? What's the issue here? Would appreciate some insight vs. just doing it over & over.

Thoughts on menu boards?

I really like the idea of using the washable menu board with the faces printed on it, because I change my menu for each event I do. However, I'm finding it difficult to use! Not only is it obviously not the shape of a human face, lacking the dimension, but I also have a hard time getting the right level of moisture. Does anybody have tips or alternatives?

Best practice for reloading?

I try to avoid reloading, but sometimes ya just need more paint. Is it best practice to wash the brush before reloading, or sanitize the cake after the face is done, or are we just not worrying about that... what's the consensus here?

Sealer/setting spray?

I use water based paint and with the hot weather coming up I'm wondering what y'all do to kee designs from sweating off? I'm reading that the sealer sprays are not really safe for kid faces (and are flammable?? um ??) can anyone recommend a product from experience? I don't want something so hardcore that it won't wash off for 3 days or something, you know?
