I had two wrong positive HIV tests when trying to donate blood plasma... but I dont have HIV

When trying to become a plasma donor, the doctors wanted to check my blood and when I gave it it was the first day of a cold that lasted about 10 Days. It was a typical cold really.

A week later I get a call that i am positive for HIV in a quick test so they ran another lab test which showed I was negative. So I was 100% negative for HIV (HIV was nearly impossible anyways)

A month later they checked my blood again, did the same tests with the same result.

Again - wrongly positive.

The doctors couldnt really tell me why i was positive and then negative twice but blocked me for donating plasma for a year...

Does anybody have an idea what could have caused this? Was the cold maybe some kind of weird covid Virus that got detected?

I am 32, female, struggling with fatigue and I have only working kidney, apart from that i am pretty normal lol

Thanks in advance
