Mini Kabuto frt help

I recently picked up one of these mini kabuto frts as a for fun thing because I I was able to find some that were on discount for the holiday holidays. Went to drop it in today and I had some trouble troubles. It seems like when I put it into the lower there’s too material on the side of the FRT, which is causing the upper to not be able to sit right. When I was doing a little bit of looking around on Reddit, somebody said try and put the FRT into the upper then put the lower onto the upper like that. When I tried to do that, I discovered a little pocket in the upper that it seemed like the FRT fit into perfectly. I then tried to put the lower back on the upper and I couldn’t get it to sit correctly. Then when I tried to put the FRT in the lower and get it to sit in that pocket, it seems like the FRT is sitting too far forward to sit in the pocket. I don’t know if it’s even supposed to sit in that pocket, but that was just my quick diagnosis. I added some pictures. Any help would be appreciated.

Glock slide polishing.

I recently did this G43 slide it’s looking pretty decent for my first time ever doing this but I’m wondering how can I get this looking better. I used sandpaper my hands and a lot of time😭 started at 240 and went up to 3000-5000 the slide has a decent mirror finish not crystal clear reflection like some people tho so let me know what I can do to make this slide look any better

Glock slide polishing

I’m looking to learn about polishing a Glock slide what the process looks like what tools will be needed and what can I do after it’s done to prevent it from rusting like some type of coating of something for protection. Also, something I want to mention is that I saw somebody saying if you leave your slide in white vinegar overnight it will remove the paint off of the slide wondering if anybody has any experience with that. Then, if that is not the answer, what is the best answer for removing the paint already on the slide? Mainly wanting to do this because I have a beat up g43 slide I wanna try it on. but also if I am any good at it, maybe I’ll try it on some other ones too. I appreciate any help/feedback
