I made this earring holder 💫

I used an old 20x20cm canvas frame, some leftover window screen mesh, paint, glue, wooden skewers to hold the mesh in place, and some star fabric I've had in my craft bin since my teens were in diapers.

It turned out really well, I think. There is more than a centimeter of space between the mesh screen and the star fabric backing, so plenty of room for the hooks. The only downside is that this holder pretty much exclusively holds hook earrings 🤷‍♀️

Beaded Hanging over Pour Painting

The beaded suncatcher I made matches my acrylic pour painting so well! (I made the flower beads out of Sculpy polymer clay.)

I really love the combination of green, blue, purple and pink colors. 💚🩵💙💜💖🩷

Is this a breakthrough, or am I just really high?

Sloth is the "deadly sin" that I am guilty of. I have STRUGGLED with motivation my whole life. It's just so difficult to get out of the house or "do the thing". It's the ADHD symptom that hits me hardest, or at least most often.

So, I was watching random YouTube videos and watched one on the 7 demon princes of hell. The one called Belphegor is the one that's associated with sloth.

This demon is interesting because he is an innovator who helps people with inventions that make life easy and make the patent holder rich, which culminates in a slothful existence, I guess?

From there, I was looking up the meaning and origin of sloth. The word that comes up is "indolence". Now THIS is where it gets interesting: indolence has its roots in Latin which means "freedom from pain". Whoa. Not "lazy", but freedom from PAIN.

Then I saw this: "indolence means the disposition to avoid trouble. Love of ease."

So THIS is how we are "lazy"! We are literally trying to avoid getting into trouble and avoid painful situations! Does any of this feel familiar to anyone?

Ugh. I'm going to be addressing this with my therapist!

Goblin gift wrap from brown paper + ink stamps

I have a lot of cool nature stamps and decided to make gift wrap using a few favorites on brown paper. (It's for my soon to be ex-husband who loves nature and gardening.)

Here's my take on the trend. I have loved seeing everyone's beaded plants, but didn't see any mini macrame with little wooden beads, so I decided to fill the void. Ngl, I kinda want to get better beads and make more 😅😬
