Still a beginner but I think I’m getting better!

I recently got a flat tire on my 2023 rav4 and am looking at replacement tires. When inspecting my current ones i noticed what looks like dry rot which leads me to believe my tires are old, but the tread isn’t very worn down. The car is a 2023 so the tires couldn’t be more than 3 years old 🤷‍♂️

I for some reason just ordered 4 new ones without even thinking… was this a good idea or should I have only gotten 1?

About a week ago I posted my first 3d lamp without the base because I was too excited to wait. Well now I finished the base - here’s the finished product!!!!

Woodworking is hard… didn’t turn out as clean as I wanted it too, but it does the job!! 😂

Hi all!

I recently finished one of my first pieces and when I was working I poured a little flux and patina in a cup to use it and when I was done I had extra and I instinctively just poured it down the sink. I instantly realized this was probably a terrible idea since these chemicals are very bad.

So now I ask, how do we properly dispose of the used/ extra poison?

Finally finished my first big project AND my first 3d project!! Here’s the start to finish progress I recorded. Super happy with how it came out😎. As a side note, I tried to re-flow some of the solder so if it looks bad in some pics and not as bad in other pics that’s why lol. Now I just need to make a wooden base for it, but I couldn’t wait for that to post this!

P.S. I’m still a beginner and always looking for tips, if anyone sees anything they can comment on let me know!!!! I can take criticism 😉

Hi all! I’m working on this lamp right now (this is just one panel, it will have other panels kinda being a rectangular prism) and I can’t seem to get the solder smooth.

I’m fairly new to this whole thing and I’ve watched so many tutorials and this is as good as I’ve gotten so far. I swear I’m following all the instructions I see but for some reason it just doesn’t come out smooth!

Is it maybe my materials/ iron that is bad? Or do I just need more practice? Lastly, is there a way to fix these bad solder lines?

Any tips are GREATLY appreciated!

Some plants died, some plants thrived!

I always wanted to go for the jungle look, but some of the Val is getting huuuuuge and starting to inch up to the front. It seems I can’t contain it no matter what I do! I want the whole foreground to be covered with the shorter Val but it isn’t spreading as fast as the big stuff.

There are only snails and shrimp in here because I wanted the snail population to explode but it seems to have stabilized around 100, I may add some fish since my shrimp army didn’t seem to work out… either way, the jungle is a thriving ecosystem!!!

Any suggestions/ criticism is very welcome!!!

As the title says, I am wondering where to watch the 13 episodes of the ova. I have been looking everywhere and I can’t seem to find a good place to watch it with consistent English subtitles.

Either the YouTube videos don’t offer English sub or they do but the sound is in French and not Japanese - which messes up the episodes for me.

If anyone can drop me a link to a playlist or a suggestion on where to watch that would be great!!

Also, I know there might be a 1997 ova? Is this true? If so, is that anywhere to watch? I’m new to the fandom and am trying to soak up all the media I can! Thanks!

I literally just got this Anubias and it is already flowering! I think it might’ve had a small bulb coming out when I got it so I hope it survives the transition into my tank!!

Hi all! I have had this tank going for over a year. It started with 10 red cherries and they have since reproduced to 100+ RED shrimp. I have never seen any shrimp in here that aren’t red, but all of a sudden today I noticed a blue shrimp.

Could this just be a long lost blue gene that somehow managed to fight out a red gene? Maybe a genetic mutation or something? I’m not too familiar with how the shrimp genetic colors work, so I’m just wondering how is this possible!? A blue shrimp after over a year of only reds! And it’s the only one too… shouldn’t there be many babies that are alike?

Idk, if anyone is a shrimp geneticist let me know!

Ive never seen a shrimp sitting right next to their molt like this! The molt is even still hanging upside down from the plant 🤣
