Seresto collar on dog with newborn in the house

Does anyone use a seresto collar on their dog and also have a baby or small children? Our vet switched us from an oral flea/tick medication to the collar due to our 5 year old lab having a seizure recently.

I didn’t give it much thought initially but now I’m paranoid about the medicine being on my dogs skin/fur. He sleeps on our couch and bed and we obviously pet him and I can’t stop thinking about touching him and then touching our newborn daughter. I worry what adverse effects this could have on her.

Has anyone dealt with this before? Is there any other option that might be safer but still effective? I’m currently waiting on a call back from the vet.

Help with our linen closet

We have such a hard time with this linen closet. Looking for DIY suggestions to make it more functional and organized. We need to be able to organize bath towels, beach towels and a few extra sets of sheets. We also normally store our iron and steamer in here. We have tried baskets to put the towels in but we always just eventually end up putting them directly on the shelf. I think the depth of the closet makes it more challenging. Any ideas?

Bottom shelf is 34 wide by 33 deep

Top is 34 wide by 23 deep

Wanted to get thoughts on this name we have been stuck on for our baby coming in August - Gwenyth Lucy. We would call her Gwen. I really love it and I certainly don’t want a name that is super popular, but I find it odd that I pretty much never see the name Gwen/Gwyneth/Gwenyth on any baby name lists. Is there a reason? I find Gwen to be so cute.

Also, it seems like the typical spelling is Gwyneth but with us wanting her to go by Gwen it seems like Gwenyth would make more sense. Is there any issue with this spelling?
