How do you feel about the fashion scene at UQ aka people’s outfits?

The more I delve into it, the more I realise that most people wear really casual clothing, with little regard to aesthetic (skinny jeans UGH).

Boy oh boy where do I even begin. Lebron... honey, my pookie bear. I have loved you ever since I first laid eyes on you. The way you drive into the paint and strike fear into your enemies eyes. Your silky smooth touch around the rim, and that gorgeous jumpshot. I would do anything for you. I wish it were possible to freeze time so I would never have to watch you retire. You had a rough childhood, but you never gave up hope. You are even amazing off the court, you're a great husband and father, sometimes I even call you dad. I forvever dread and weep, thinking of the day you will one day retire. I would sacrifice my own life it were the only thing that could put a smile on your beautiful face. You have given me so much joy, and heartbreak over the years. I remember when you first left clevenland and its like my heart got broken into a million pieces. But a tear still fell from my right eye when I watched you win your first ring in miami, because deep down, my glorious king deserved it. I just wanted you to return home. Then allas, you did, my sweet baby boy came home and I rejoiced. 2015 was a hard year for us baby, but in 2016 you made history happen. You came back from 3-1 and I couldn't believe it. I was crying, bawling even, and I heard my glorious king exclaim these words, "CLEVELAND, THIS IS FOR YOU!" Not only have you changed the game of basketball and the world forever, but you've eternally changed my world. And now you're getting older, but still the goat, my goat. This course isn’t Tasteful in nature. So the crows Please Please Please tell me the ways of studying the course. The course lecture slides make no sense, the three tests (T, F and J) makes no sense to me.

I think it’s in my Good Graces to cram this course, as the slides seem to be made for the Sharpest Tool(s) in the shed. Perhaps it’s a Coincidence that I don’t have a clue bc I suck at statistics? Bed Chem is not good.

Even with Espresso in my system, this course is really Dumb & Poetic, like that scene with Slim Pickens on the rocket ship (with the ground being my GPA).

(I don’t know how to add Juno, Lie to Girls and Don’t Smile into this)

Anyways …. would anyone have any tips when it comes to approaching this course? I’ve downloaded a study summary which is helping.

I think this is where I talk about myself (although I do want to hear all about you!) so I’ll keep it Short N’ Sweet.

- I’m 20M

- Third year studying a Bachelor of Commerce & a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in: Finance, Economics and Political Science at the University of Queensland

- I work as a Semi-professional Fashion Photographer

(I L O V E capturing the moments where people are comfortable wearing the clothes on their skin — an often subconscious way of expressing oneself and one’s own identity. But also, I like seeing the new designs that brilliant designers exhibit before they are available for sale) My day job is significantly more tame haha

- I am a President of a UQ club

- I am a Hobbyist Bird Photographer, my favourite species of bird is the White Winged Fairywren. I also like crows (I find their mannerisms to be adorable). I am planning to start up the Crow Club, wherein we befriend and talk about crows

- I love reading about naval history. My favourite ship is the USS Cleveland, a Cleveland class Light Cruiser.

In order to keep it Short N’ Sweet, here are some questions so you can learn more about my personality:

A) I would describe myself as kind, fun and lighthearted (albeit shortsighted)

Q) If someone would describe you as an animal, what would it be?
A) A teddy bear

(Someone told me that they would say I am a teddy bear)

Q) What is something which someone would not guess of you?
A) I love learning about anything that interests me.

Although my interests fluctuate over time (ADHD :p), I will always support you and learn more about your hobbies so that I can be a better listener. I love listening to pretty much anything (except sport and cars, sorry, I’ve never really had an interest in both).

Hey all,

I’m looking to befriend a murder of crows (because assessment procrastination is real). Where are there usually crows? I usually see individual crows around the UQU complex area but I haven’t noticed any murder of crows around (I only go to campus twice a week).

A murder of crows = A group of crows. I know — bird people have funny ways of naming a group of birds haha
