You only need a parachute to go skydiving twice

Just curious what people are reaching for on a regular basis. I do a proper wash maybe once a week but I want something I can use between washes to knock off dust and keep things looking decent without pulling out the whole setup.
Been using the same thing for a while and honestly not sure if there's something better out there. What's your go-to quick detail spray right now and what made you land on it?
I opened the door, the light came on, and the drinks were cold. It works perfectly fine, idk what she's on about
He was right. I started running on a treadmill yesterday and it felt like a decade
I'm trying to actually move the needle on roi rather than just track it. Plenty of tools claim to help but in practice most are reporting tools that show you what already happened. What's actually generating roi improvement vs just measuring it?
I live in a small rental and I keep seeing people say “just make a command center.”Where though. The wall by the kitchen is too narrow. The entryway already has coats, bags, and one basket that is pretending to be organized. The counter has no extra space unless I evict the toaster. The side of the cabinet is not magnetic. The door area is already where shoes go to create conflict. So all our schedule stuff ends up on the fridge. Not in a cute way. More like:
rent due
laundry room booking
my partner’s late shift
package pickup
maintenance coming Tuesday maybe??
call internet company
friend visiting Saturday
one sticky note that says “don’t forget” but forgot to explain what
It looks messy but it works better than the shared calendar we both swear we check.I think tiny apartments make you honest about systems. If the system needs an extra surface, it’s already in trouble. The fridge is not beautiful, but it is available. In a rental that counts for a lot
13% on Monday, 22% on Tuesday, 40% on Wednesday, 20% on Thursday, and 5% on Friday
He looked right at me and said, Hey, how far do you think I can kick this bucket?
So I locked her outside
just wanted to share a quick garage update. i have been using my old rigid shop vac forever and the suction is great, but i was completely done with dragging that bulky bucket across the concrete and tripping over the stiff hose every five minutes.
i didn't want to buy a whole new vacuum system since mine still works fine, so i just wanted a way to add a retractable setup to what i already had. ended up buying the giraffe tools wall mounted hose reel extension.
the way i set it up is super simple: the old shop vac stays parked dead in the corner plugged right into the back of the reel, and the long hose does all the walking. it easily covers my whole two-car garage and reaches all the way out to the driveway for cleaning car mats.
the honest truth is you do lose a tiny bit of suction over a super long run compared to a short hose, and messing with the adapters to get a tight fit was a bit annoying. but getting that bulky hose hassle off the floor is 100% worth the trade-off.
if you love your current vac but hate dragging it around, just adding a separate retractable reel like this is a solid fix
Maybe a career as a tour guide wasn't for me
Flew the Avata 360 low along this town right by the water. The lake was dead still so the reflections were super sharp. What I like most is the shallow part near the shore where you can see straight through to the bottom, and then it shifts into that deep blue further out.A slow pass at this height felt right for the scene. The buildings, the mountains, the reflections all sit in one frame without needing to climb higher. Glad I caught it on a windless day
But now I'm not so sure
Research shows that cows form strong social bonds and get visibly stressed out when they are separated from their favorite buddy 🐮
The average cumulus cloud weighs about 1.1 million pounds (500,000 kg). That’s roughly 100 elephants floating over your head ☁️🐘
He told me, Don't worry, it's just a phrase
Because it was framed
This is a very specific productivity failure but I’m wondering if anyone else has this.I have reminders. Too many probably Grocery list app. Notes app. Calendar reminders. Saved recipes. A whiteboard. Random texts to myself. Sometimes I’ll write “use chicken” in my phone like that means anything. The problem is none of those reminders exist at the moment I actually need them.A reminder pops up at 2 pm while I’m working and says “eat leftovers.” Great. I swipe it away because I’m in the middle of something. By 8 pm I’m standing in front of the fridge, tired, hungry, and suddenly those leftovers have left my brain completely.Same with grocery lists. I’ll write down what we have, then forget to check it before shopping. Or I’ll save a recipe and never connect it to the actual half onion and spinach sitting in my fridge.I don’t think my issue is motivation. It’s location. The reminder is always in the wrong place. Food reminders need to hit when I’m looking at food, not when I’m answering emails.Has anyone fixed this kind of thing with a more physical/visual system? Not just for food necessarily, but for any task where phone reminders technically work but practically fail because they show up at the wrong moment
I just couldn't put it down
