Shasta mid July - Clear Creek?

I'll be passing Shasta mid-July, but I'm trying to figure out if I need certain gear before I go out. I've climbed 20+ 14ers in CO, Helens, etc, with Longs Peak being the only class 3. I usually rock microspikes and poles, and have no experience with an ice axe or crampons. Do I need to get an axe and crampons before I show up, or will I be good hiking the Clear Creek route with just spikes and poles? Maybe even avalanche gulch with spikes and poles?

To the moon next month!

I love this thing. 2021 XSE hybrid. I’ve had it since day one and only the regular maintenance has been needed.

Probably will jump up to the 4Runner before I hit 300k.

We are looking for an inflatable tandem kayak for parents/two 7-year-olds to use(two people max will be in the kayak). We mainly run class I/II rivers.

Thinking about the Tributary Strike II or STAR Raven II, but I know there are some others. The AIRE Lynx II might be too much for us, and we're not sure if it's worth the upgrade.

I'm a male teacher in Bossier and looking to rent a room somewhere in the Shreveport/Bossier area. I'm also open to getting a two-bedroom apartment with someone else if that location is in North Bossier.

FYI - I've tried several roommate sites, FB, etc, but haven't had any luck as of right now.
