I wish I had known the Union Creative model was coming and ordered that instead, but this one is fine in its own right.

The plus side is having one now instead of a year from now. It also felt so great to receive Nagisa on the same day.

Nagisa has arrived and she is every bit as beautiful as I expected her to be.

I originally just put her in that spot to take a picture, but I think I’ll keep her there since the lighting appears to turn her shadows into angel wings, which for her I think is very, very appropriate.

I’ve been thinking about this a lot lately.

When Akeno goes on her date with Issei and lets her hair out of the usual ponytail, she looks damn near identical to Raynare (as Yuuma), even down to the outfit in the case of the light novel. Raynare is literally the worst thing to ever happen to Issei. Thinking he had found love only for it all to be a lie so she could murder him scarred him for life eternity and left him traumatized to the point that he was afraid to feel love for fear of being betrayed again. So why is it that when Akeno arrives for their date, Issei doesn’t immediately have a PTSD-induced nervous breakdown? That just seems like a substantial plot-hole to me.

Edit: Alright so it seems like the novels did things a little differently and the date takes place after Issei opens up about his trauma to the girls. I really do want to read the novels, but they just take forever to finish and I already have way too many unread manga volumes collecting dust on my shelves.

(Chapter 163) Do you think this is an ass-pull?

I can understand that he’s getting more powerful with the spirits of the gods living inside his subconscious (and I’ll admit the “Let’s Go Yuuki!” page pumped me up like crazy), but it does seem awfully fucking convenient that he doesn’t even need Kyouka, the one who actually harbors the Slave ability or anything containing her essence (like when he licked her boot), to transform anymore.
