How I'm taking my life back.

Just started the peptide ARA 290 and will be running it for a full month this time. Currently on day 4. Twitching has pretty much stopped. Just very tiny little twiches once in a while. Like it's dwindling down. Already feeling much better all around. Blood pressure stabilized. Energy has increased. Zero side effects.

Do your homework on ARA 290. Last year it was truly a miracle for me. Now I'm finally starting to feel hopeful about the future again.

(Not medical advice, just do your homework)

After I'm done with that, I'm going to try Enclomiphene for testosterone support because the inflammation and stress from the neuropathy negatively affected my hormone production. (My theory)

I actually think the ARA 290 is starting to have a positive impact there as well, because when the stress and inflammation goes away, everything seems to fall in line.

So I might not even need the Enclomiphene. I guess I'll see how I feel in a month.

TRT with Neuropathy?

I just got my labs results and my total testosterone was under 300, which doesn't surprise me considering the amount of fatigue and soreness I've been dealing with. So I'm probably going to hop on TRT soon.

(My theory) I think either the neuropathy negatively affects the hormones or vice versa. Having low testosterone might be a contributing factor to the neuropathy.

My question is has anyone else with neuropathy used testosterone therapy.. and if so what were the results?

Do it help or hurt the situation?

Stung by a bee and wasn't sure if it was the Neuropathy. 😂

I didn't see the bee when it got me, so at first I wasn't sure what happened. I'm kind of used to random little pricks and stings once in a while. About a minute later I knew I'd been stung or bit by something, but I didn't know what it was. I was kind of tripping out thinking what if it was a Black Widow or a Scorpion. Thankfully it was just a bee. I found it later on the floor.

It got me thinking though.. What if it was something much worse? A Hornet, Scorpion or even a Black Widow. How would a person with Neuropathy react to a really bad insect bite? Especially if the vemon was neurotoxic like a Black Widow or a Scorpion?

Just something else to worry about. Be safe out there. 😂

Can Men Achieve Hair regrowth And Raise Testosterone Simultaneously?

Can't we have both? Do we have to choose one? Is there a way to raise free testosterone and stop DHT?

What good is having thick hair without high testosterone and vice versa?

(I know already know a hair transplant is the most obvious answer, but unfortunately I don't have an extra 5K or 10K at the moment.)

Does Alpha Lipoc Acid or R Lipoic Acid actually do anything or is it just a Placebo?

I've been taking R Lipoic Acid on and off for over a year and to this day... I'm not really sure if it does anything. I think It puts my mind at ease a little bit because I'm taking something that is SUPPOSED to help....but does it actually help?

The R Lipoic Form is pretty expensive too. Perhaps that money could be better spent on something else with real noticable results.

Thinking about trying Enclomiphene.

I'm thinking about trying Encomiphene as a TRT alternative. I'll be getting labs done first. Just wondering if anyone has experience with the side effects.

I've read some comments on here saying that most people stop taking Enclomiphene after a few months because they start feeling bad. Something about how it screws up an important role of Estrogen which can cause neurological issues leading to depression and what not.

If any of that is true....does it go away after you stop taking it? Are there any cases of the side effects being permanent?

(Edit) I forgot to ask about HCG. I know absolutely nothing about it. Does it work as a TRT alternative without shutting you down?

Can creatine trigger symptoms?

I've been talking creatine after exercising and I'm not sure if it's causing more muscle twitching or if it's just from the exercise. I know it can cause dehydration so I do drink extra water.

Does anyone with neuropathy have any experience taking creatine? Good or bad?

Buying Peptides in the summer. Heat damage?

I always trip out on the heat being harmful during the shipping process in the summer. It seems like a better idea to wait for fall or winter to avoid the heat exposure. Even when I've paid extra for rushed shipping it usually takes 4 to 5 days. That's 4 to 5 days it's probably COOKING in the heat. Considering that these things aren't exactly cheap...It seems like a better idea to wait until it cools down. Especially with how insanely hot it is right now

What are your thoughts? Do you trip out on the heat being harmful to your investment?

Strength Training and Muscle Building with Neuropathy. The Double Edged Sword.

Obviously, living with neuropathy is extremely challenging. Our bodies are constantly fighting against us. From my experience, this is especially true when it comes to strength training and exercise.

I'm still trying to build muscle and make strength gains with neuropathy. I also do boxing workouts and I don't plan on stopping. I'm not letting this condition destroy my spirit and I plan on getting stronger NOT weaker! (Which is why I steer clear of medications like Gabapentin which can lower testosterone.)

Here's some things I've learned about exercise and neuropathy.

Muscle recovery is especially hard on the nervous system. Some of my worst days have been after extremely intense workouts. It's not just the typical muscle soreness. It's the nervous system going haywire from the inflammation caused by the breakdown of muscle tissue. I might feel great on the day of the workout, but the recovery can sometimes be hell on the nerves.

So as much as I hate to admit it, I sometimes have to moderate the training. (Which can be hard when I'm highly motivated) I'm learning to train smarter. Listen to my body. Don't overtrain. Leave a little gas in the tank. Take recovery days when needed.

I can still walk and do light cardio on recovery days. Light stretching. Light shadow boxing. (If it's not a bad neuropathy day)

I understand that not everyone on here can lift heavy weights and some people probably can't even walk, but we can all do something and something is better than nothing. I think getting blood flow to the peripheral nerves is important. It's also important to exercise for cardio conditioning. Even if it's just walking or very light lifting.

A few years beforeI I had the full neuropathy symptoms, I had intense pain in my forearms. I went to a doctor who told me it was most likely tennis elbow. Now I know it was nerve damage. I was unable to bench press for weeks at a time. I actually think drinking high flavonol Cocao has helped heal my forearms or at least played a role.

(You can do your own research on Cocao and neuropathy, just be aware it contains heavy metals. Find a quality brand that has low metals if you try it.)

It also could've been the ARA 290 peptide I tried that helped it.

Anyway, I'm curious if anyone else with neuropathy still lifts heavy weights. Bench press, squats, deadlifts. (I had to take a break from squats and deadlifts for awhile, but I'm back to doing them now.)

What is your experience with strength training and building muscle with neuropathy?

Do you find the breakdown of muscle and recovery can trigger neuropathy symptoms like I do?

Do you find it more challenging to make gains?

I certainly do.

Wondering if anyone has tried those expensive Stem Cell treatments from Wellness Clinics.

I've called a few Wellness Clinics and the typical price seems to be around $5,000 to $10,000 on the low end.

Is it a scam? Has anyone tried it with success?

Also wondering if Testosterone Replacement Therapy could help heal inflammation.

Or what about Ivermectin?

(Obviously, this is about Neuropathy)

Neuropathy. Let's help each other.

To make a long story short. I have Neuropathy/Nerve damage that is not caused by diabetes. I don't exactly know the cause. I'm guessing many years of binge drinking alcohol probably played a role. I also have lower back pain and that's probably a contributing factor.

(Symptoms)

On bad days I have muscle twitching that can start anywhere and last for days or even a week.

Dropping of blood pressure. Orthostatic Hypotension. The bad days are filled with chronic stress due to blood pressure changes. I can tell when my blood pressure drops.

Typical numbness and stinging that usually happens when falling asleep or waking up.. (I've used the peptide ARA 290 and I do believe it has dramatically helped those particular symptoms)

(Remedies)

So here's what I've tried.

(Most effective)

ARA 290 peptide (It's very expensive and I've tried it twice. First time for three weeks. Second time for two weeks. I believe it has helped me significantly.)

Raw Cocao powder (The Cadmium and Lead content is concerning, but I've heard Cocao can boost stem cells so it's a trade off. On bad days Cocoa can be a life saver. It's definitely a mood booster, but I'm probably building up a tolerance because I take it as needed. I'm also concerned about the heavy metals making things worse over the long run or even causing cancer.

Shilajit (I think it helps)

(Things that I take or have taken and I'm not really sure if they help)

R Lipoic Acid

Aceyl L Carnitine

Benfotiamine

B 12

Vitamin D with K 2

Turmeric

NAC (Only tried it a few times because I heard something about a cancer study in mice.

So what have you tried? What is the most effective?

Let's help each other BEAT THIS!

I'M NOT GOING DOWN WITHOUT A FIGHT!!!!!
