Rejection & Outcasted

Was Outcasted and reject in the diet & lifting community

when i started asking question about certain marker on my health report being above the level, i am often told it fine as the rest of the markers are totally in the best ranges, i read up the article and such as well but still it didn't sit well with me. Weight also Stalled at 120kg range, the diet say we can give ourself cheat meals which i save it for the weekend, they start using this as a reason to say i am giving the diet a bad view with my fail success and so i left the group.

Lifting community wise also did the same because i wanted to do strongman & powerlift ( planned to join event) they pointed out that i am full of rubbish after how i am doing and how i look like.

i still continue on with what i plan to do, researching online, video in youtube, gymbros hearsays, i took everything in and look for what is common between them and created something for myself, with the doctor assisting me for each blood work done, i was able to tweak base on what we discuss on my plans.

i start to home cook my meats and buy veggies dish from the cai png store (Economy rice), just add some seasoning from ntuc or foodie market on my meat and oven it + 3 veggies is the base of all my meals on the weekday, back up will always be western chicken chop change fries to veggie or egg + 1 more chicken chop or grill fish.

Phase 3 - Strongman & Powerlifting Ended

Squat: 220kg
Deadlift: 280kg
Bench: 147.5kg
Weighting at 103kg

Suffer a horrible back pain after the deadlift PR, i also have a build up of injuries as well in this phase of 5 years ( 9yrs+ of lifting ). I made a choice to stop this training and walk toward general health as my main goal of this journey was to get my blood pressure down, i achieve that already so the next goal is to maintain my health, no point i get myself injured.

if i do not need this current build for this class anymore, is time to lose it.

End Phase - The Cut

goal is to get my weight to the 80kg range, i gave myself 1 year to do so, i added cardio into the program, as i am still in my triple digits running is going to be a bad idea for my knees.

Plan Cardio:

  1. 1h, max resist, walk at a pace where i can complete

  2. 8 set of 5mins - 2.30min jog/run pace + 2.30min walk

i didn't change my diet is still the same but the last 3 month i got stricter with only 1 cheat meal over the weekends.

Weighting day - end of cutting phase

weight in at 80.6kg
Squat: 220kg
Deadlift: 280kg
Bench: 147.5kg
OHP: 110kg
Farmer Walk: 110kg
Tyre Flip: 280kg

I suffer the same back injuries again, so i decided is best never to attempt this again.

Here on out is to maintain my current Health & Fitness.

I made a lot of mistake, fail & fail & fail & fail & fail, with each failure i get mocked and laughed at but i continue on till i am able to craft my own program and plans, failures are lessons needed to improve yourself. Sleep + Diet + Training is what contribute to a good health.

I Wish all Fight on & Keep Moving Forward

There is always these at every place from school to work to gym, i just followed the program on my hp, set my hp timer for 1min 20sec rest between set. At 25, BP 160-200 never have I thought. (Health Journey Phase 1)

Sharing Story:

Lesser Than Average Joe
Age 25, Single
9-6 job
hobby: Anime, Gaming

Did a Health Check as is a requirement for my new job, health report is showing all the common markers are still with in the range ( 1 or 2 point before entering borderline high), Blood pressure extremely high 160 - 200. The Doc advice is to make changes to lower down the risk of all the awful incoming issues.

i confirm with him if exercises & make better food choices would help. I was giving nifetex-tr and panbesy, to aid with journey to get my health back.

I made a choice to eat sweets and not drink sweets here on out, so i will avoid all sweets drinks and only have a moderate sweet treats. Plan to go the gym to workout like 2 times a week ( Friday and Saturday)

Did some research from fitness magazine, library, hearsay, forums, etc.
Program - 5 x 5 Strong Lift ( easy to follow and is 3 times a week)
Food Wise - Cai Png with 3 meats and 3 vegetable without rice or chicken chop add 1 more meat, fries change to something else.
Skip Breakfast but will have a Kopi O Kosong Peng.

First Month
Lost 10 point off my BP
Lost 14 to 15kg
doc decide not to continue the meds as i only took the BP control med for 1 weeks, i self stop because my urine was smelling damn bad, i decide not to continue the diet med to see how is my progress on my second month.

Second month
Lost 10 point off my BP
Lost 14 to 15kg
Doc have me continue what i am doing without meds
