Nappy cream
What nappy cream do you swear by? We’ve tried bepanthen and aveeno which work to some extent but skin is still red and dry

FTM and little one is 15 weeks. We were slow to bond after a traumatic birth but I do feel as though we’ve bonded now. However, I keep seeing online about babies having a secure attachment bond with their mothers but I don’t feel as though we have that, or at least not yet.
I do most of the feeds, contact nap during the day, they’re next to me in the “next to me crib” at night, I sing to them, play with them, make them laugh and smile, but I don’t feel anymore special than anyone else. I feel as though they smile and laugh with everyone. I see about secure attachment bonds online and the baby looks for their mothers and gets upset when they can’t see them etc but our little one seems ok without me the odd time I’m not there…
Do these things take time or am I doing something wrong?
Is it true that skin to skin can help regulate little ones temperature in a heatwave or will my body heat just warm them up more?

First time parents here so pardon the stupidity…. what do you all do with the remaining un-scoopable powder in the tin? Do we just tip it into the new tin?
Thanks in advance!
I’m three months postpartum and my hair is coming out like crazy which I know is to be expected. It’s currently just below my shoulders and before having the baby was quite thick and wavy/curly.
I’m just wondering if it’s a good idea going for something like a wolf cut to disguise the hair fall while it grows back or will it just emphasise it?
Thank you in advance!
We are now three months into our new family life, and it’s been one of the most incredible, challenging and rewarding experiences we’ve ever been through. Is it how we imagined? Yes and no, some things we expected and prepared for but other things we didn’t know about until it happened so we’ve learned a lot
So any new parents reading this, is it how you imagined?
Little one is two months old. Everything I’ve saw and read suggestions the PP hair loss doesn’t kick in until four months but I’m currently at two months and the hair loss has been insane! Anyone else have it earlier than expected?
Decided to swap for the embrace and feel much better and more comfortable. Please tell me I’m doing it right. Read the leaflet and watched the videos, little one is 8 weeks and under 58.4cm so folded twice
I feel like I’m just not getting the hang of this. I’ve loosened the straps as advised on my previous post but now I feel like little one’s upper body isn’t secure and can move around too much. I’m worried I’ll never get the hang of it
When wearing baby in a carrier at home can you/do you sit down still wearing your little one? Or do you have to take them out?
Active sleep is destroying me. Our little one is really good at sleeping at night between feeds, as he’s getting older he’s going longer stretches but he’s such a noisy active sleeper that we’re not even feeling the benefit of it.
The only time he isn’t a noisy sleeper is when he’s sleeping on us. I’m struggling with postpartum anxiety so co sleeping is a no for me. Choices are put him in his “next to me crib” and be awake listening to him all night or have him sleep on me and be awake all night.
Someone please tell me it settles down and gets better
First time parents, little one is 7 weeks old, what is the general consensus on visitors who work in schools and/or have school aged kids? Anxious with RSV, chickenpox etc going round at the moment and kids in their classes have been exposed. What’s the advice or guidance in this situation?

I’ve been looking at getting a baby carrier after trying and failing with a sling. I’ve ended up looking at the Ergobaby omni classic (previously called 360) and the omni deluxe so I’m just wondering is there much difference between the two?
Little one is 7 weeks, 9lbs 6oz and 53cm
Our little one is nearly 7 weeks now and for almost a week has been super fussy so me and my husband have been doing “shifts” at night. One of us will go to bed for half the night while the other stays downstairs with little one and then we’ll switch so that we’re both getting some sleep.
My only concern as a new mum is I’m worried about being away from our baby for about 5 hours at a time. Is it going to affect our bonding? You see so much online to say it’s more beneficial for him to be close to me 24/7 to regulate his nervous system etc or is it ok that he’s with his dad when I’m not there?
