(OC)Perfect timing.
My wife brought a handful of Japanese Beatles to the hens. They usually come running for them. This girl was in the coop siting very quietly. When my wife peeked in she got this video.

Question for Canadian chicken owners.
I'm researching automatic coop doors.Do any fellow Canadians have suggestions. My biggest concern is the cold weather. In my area temps are between +30 C and - 30 C. Snow and ice are a factor. Cheers, photo is the chicken tax.

Our first egg!
What a great surprise this morning. It's tiny but a big step forward.

Relaxing with the girls.
It's a daily must, they help me wind down after work.
