My fiancé had my ring custom made, I gave him inspo pictures for guidance but was too stressed with work and didn’t have the energy or brain power to help with the process. He really nailed it!
He started the customization process almost a year ago and has had the ring for a few months. It has always been my dream to get engaged in Japan and it was perfect!
Apparently it took his jewelry months to find the colored diamond for the center piece. It’s such a perfect red/brown and I love how it looks slightly different depending on the lighting.
I told him I didn’t want diamonds because I think they’re too expensive and not really worth it. But of course he always wants the best for me and did all diamonds lmao. I am honestly very nervous about wearing something so expensive, but it’s sooo sparkly and beautiful!
The only thing I would change is more baguettes (which is unfortunately the thing that I put a huge emphasis on wanting but I don’t want to complain because it’s beautiful regardless). Maybe I can work baguettes into the wedding band without it looking too much?
Edit: please excuse the fingerprints on the main stone on photo 2, I was frequently reapplying sunscreen in the sticky sweaty Japan summer heat!
