Big Hero 6 was Disney's first Marvel adaptation after acquiring Marvel. It was chosen because it was obscure, allowing them the freedom to ignore the source material because how the fuck is that an approach to adapting material??
New Tomb Raider game has 0 real artists working on it according to Anti-AI
The disclaimer they're furious over:
AI-assisted tools were used during development to support some early exploration and temporary development content. Any AI-assisted assets were either replaced or refined by humans in order to maintain the creative and artistic vision of the development team.
I built a 3D navigable star map of our stellar neighborhood

I've never found anything that gives a really good sense of what our stellar neighborhood is like so I built this.
It compiles data on known stars and planets out to 100 light years, totaling 10,582 stars and 539 planets, from seven star and planet catalogs including Gaia, HYG, SIMBAD, the NASA Exoplanet Archive, and the IAU.
You can move through it with WASD controls. Tab enables the cursor allowing you to search by system name. You can also press buttons along the bottom to toggle on fictional data for the game I'm building this for.
I designed it to be far easier to use than https://stars.chromeexperiments.com/ and with far more coverage of local stars.
(The fullscreen button is a little wonky. You have to click into the app, then press Esc to reclaim the cursor, then the fullscreen button works.)

Has anyone else noticed how often YouTube videos nowadays have 5-7 minutes of preamble just vaguely related to their supposed topic?
Tons of videos seem to do this these days.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=idmTCLFVnIM
In this example video supposedly about the order of the English Alphabet, Simon Whistler rambles about symbols, kanji-based languages and Egyptian hieroglyphs for SEVEN MINUTES, half of the entire video's runtime, before even getting to the idea of letters or ordering.
I run into videos like this constantly now and I always end up quitting them after a few minutes when I'm like what the hell does this have to do with the title I clicked on.
