Hello! I recently bought some cels from the film Journey back to Oz (As a huge Oz fan in general, I absolutely love them!) And I wanted to make them some proper screen matching backgrounds. However, the only uploads of the film I can find online are all 480p max.

I could recreate everything from scratch background wise, but I really wanted to keep things as accurate as possible, and some scenes would be fairly hard for me to make out all the details in the quality they're in.

Does anyone know if I higher quality cut of the film exists at all please? I'm not holding out much hope, but I figured since it was probably made on film, hopefully a high quality scan exists somewhere :)

My luna cel for this weeks theme of cats ^○▪︎○^

This is from a scene in episode 3 where she's pretending to be a "normal cat" to fool the character Motoki. It's rare to see Luna actually meowing, so I'm happy to have this as the resident Luna in my Sailor Moon collection :)

My entire Tomodachi Life island is Sailor Moon themed and I love them all dearly ❤️

I'm thinking of naming him Sol, Orion or Comet but I'm not sure yet :)

He's already so friendly; I love him!

Hi! Sorry for the random question, I purchased this Mercury cel recently and I was just wondering if anyone knows which episode/scene it's from please? I know it's part way through Super S onwards (cos of her brooch) but SoapBox is a little temperamental on my phone and I'm having a tough time finding it 😅

The cel itself is what I'm assuming to be an unused Xerox, which already has the hand painted shading lines. I really do wonder why it was cast aside before being painted, I wonder if it was misplaced somehow? I've been collecting for long enough to know its 99.9% real, but I'm genuinely so interested in its history/story 😄

If I can find the episode, it might be possible to see if there's any quality reasons why it went unused 🤔

I've always loved the cutscenes in Sonic CD. They were a huge inspiration to me when I was younger and first learning about animation, CD Sonic is by far my favourite version of the character too!

It's been my dream for many years to own an original cel from a CD cutscene, but given their insane rarity, I figured such a thing will never happen 😅 That's one of the reasons why I thought it would be fun to try and make my own recreation of my favourite scene!

So, yeah! Here's my original hand-painted Sonic CD cel :) The background is also made by me. I was going to add the stars, but I think I may do so at a later date as I really like him on his own.

It was so much fun (and nerve wracking) to paint him in the way the masters at Toei did. I still have no clue how they were able to paint thousands of these guys for the actual cels though lol, I'd go insane 😅

Thank you for looking, I know he isn't perfect, but he's my little guy and I'm so happy to finally have a (custom) piece of my all time favourite animation!

I bought one of my dream cels recently and it arrived today! This is one of my favourite shots from a favourite episode (16) and I thought it might be fun to restore it a little to show the original shot in as high quality as possible 😄

I re-painted the background myself, so it's not exactly perfect, but I tried my best lol 😅
