What's the dumbest trading rule you've broken even though you knew better?
I realized something weird.
Almost every trader already knows the rules.
- Don't revenge trade.
- Don't move your stop loss.
- Don't average losers.
- Don't oversize.
- Don't overtrade.
Yet we still do it.
So here's my question.
What's one rule you knew... but still broke... that ended up costing you money?
Not looking for strategy discussions.
I'm curious about the psychological mistakes.
I'll start.
I once kept telling myself:
>
That one trade turned into seven.
Don't tell me your P&L.
Tell me the rule you ignored.
