More slow speed practice
Getting the hang of it finally, no drops, no feet down, even managed to get to full lock several times. The new level of clutch control I’m learning is really paying off in confidence

Not sure why 😆 thanks u/21moto
Since I had to put “blank” front fairings on mine I leaned into the black/white combo with some polkadots. Probably not to everybody’s taste, but I thought I’d do something fun before returning them to Alpine White.
Just a slow tool around some of the lesser known roads around the city of Napa. On my BMW R1250RT
A calm ride on my BMW R1250RT along a ridge between the Pacific Ocean and San Rafael
15+ years learning how to ride fast, and just a few months ago I started learning how to ride slow. It's a very real challenge, especially on a 625lb+ sport touring bike. I've dropped it a few times, no damage thanks to the Illiums. Do you do any slow speed practice?
Just some nice scenery I got to see the other day
Welcome to the home for all things related to the superlative BMW R1250RT sport touring motorcycle. We love the 1250RT, but all RT content is welcome. We're excited to have you join us!

Thanks for being part of the very first wave. Let's make r/R1250RT amazing!
I bought this Sargent for my R1250RT before I bought the bike, I knew I was buying the bike and the seat came up on FB marketplace at a crazy good price so I snagged it. It’s a HUGE improvement over the stock seat, it’s so good I put one on my Versys, too
I’ve heard Corbin seats are hard, and that Russel Day Longs are fantastic but pricey. Got a preference? I’m sticking with Sargent after this one, great seat
I personally can’t stand them, I have this really nice SW Motech that came with my R1250RT but I just hate having a bag on the tank, it’s gets in my way when I ride
Out working on my nemesis, slow speed maneuvers. Didn’t drop it today so that’s nice. Everything about this bike just sings to me
Had to put some “unpainted” fairings on since BMW doesn’t sell them in Alpine White any more. Decided to go Angine style for a while before I get them painted white
Pretty much the review that sold me on the bike. What pushed you over the edge?
