I was heartbroken about the Dream Air LH. It was SO close to better than anything I thought possible....but it gave me wild eye strain. It did need a lot of comfort and software mods, but I was 90% of the way there. Troubleshooting with fellow uber nerds(anonymous)came back with some help, but not enough to enjoy the experience.

Returned with full refund, but I'm so wonky/uneasy that there are two in stock at a Microcenter nearby(2h drive). I could have just had bad optics...but it's just so much money to not be 100% good from start that I got depressed and just gave up.

Went back to my BSB2e and everything just working without hassle and eye comfort gave me so much relief. I am aware of the issues there, no worries, but I'll just have to wait for things to smooth out Pimax-wise, I guess. Pico Space Pro is on my radar, too.

Pimax needs to tighten up QC, and I've noticed that they ARE trying. Keep up the good work Pimax, and let me know when you have a Dream Air 2.

Going to the movie theaters in Janesville was a huge part of my childhood. Was hoping something magical like IMAX being interested or maybe AMC so rivalry brings up the quality in both places.....but at this point I'll take what I can get.

Beggers can't be choosers, and I personally think the Beloit theater is pretty great. Hope this materializes.

Launching through Pimax Play is getting me Error 303. ChatGPT and I have been fighting this problem for nearing 4 hours now.

Issue is around driver_lighthouse.dll with Windows returning error 126 when attempting to load directly.

Brand new $2K device and I'm so so dissapointed.

Anyone have an idea?

Tentative SOLVED?: Steam MUST run in admin mode. SteamVR must launch from Steam itself.

Edit 2(13h mark):

Changed to Pimax Evo + Sboys3

Distortion in left eye, need to move left lense further but horizontal slider will not adjust.

Eye tracking isn't working. VRChat don't care.

I'm tired. Will continue with process tomorrow...
