Hey all, my family is planning our very first cruise trip for this NYE holiday. We're a group of siblings along with our partners, majority being in the late 20s-30s age range. But also we have a couple older family members coming including those in the 70+ age range. We also may have one infant coming too.

We're very flexible with where we can depart, the only real requirements are (1) Cruise departs in the USA (2) Cruise overlaps with New Years (3) no more than about 1,000 USD / person. After some research I've found these options:

My understanding is these ships are a little older, but I suppose we're ok with that (our very first cruise). We don't care as much about the loud party vibe, hence avoiding Carnival. Any suggestions on what to pick? Or if anyone has other recommendations or thoughts, please do share.

What gives him the ability to propel so far in singles despite his smaller frame?

His two-hand backhand looks distinctly different, almost like he’s prioritizing side spin over top spin to get around opponents on passing shots. I’d love to see a slow-mo of it but I can’t quite pin down how it works.

Is he just incredibly good at reading the ball and anticipating placement? Despite his lack of wingspan he somehow returns some of the craziest, out of reach shots. Maybe his lighter build allows him to move laterally much faster? But also we don’t typically see smaller, lighter players at the top of singles. Very interesting player all-around.
