Hi everyone! 💍✨ I’m starting to plan a 65-person micro-wedding in Las Vegas for January 2028, and I’m honestly not sure where to start when it comes to budgeting, so I’d love some advice from people who have planned a similar wedding in Vegas!

We are envisioning a Vegas wedding weekend, and I’d really like to keep everything centered around Vegas rather than having a traditional wedding venue.

Here’s what we’re thinking:
Friday night: Welcome gathering
• About 2 hours
• Ideally an outdoor/patio space at a restaurant or bar
• Open bar
• Finger foods/appetizers
• Something casual where everyone can meet and hang out before the wedding
• Guests would be responsible for their own flights and hotels

Saturday: Wedding day
• Ceremony at A Little White Chapel, ideally with an Elvis ceremony ❤️
• We’d like to have transportation together from the chapel to the reception, ideally a limo or party bus for all 65 guests if that’s realistic
• Reception at a restaurant, NOT a traditional wedding/party venue
• Ideally a private or semi-private area for approximately 65 people
• Private dinner
• I’m looking for information on their actual wedding/event packages if possible, including:
Food options/menu choices
Per-person pricing
How many courses/options are included
Open bar packages and pricing
Any minimum food & beverage spend
Service charges/gratuity/taxes
Cake/dessert options
How long we would have the space
Any other fees I should know about

After the reception, we’d probably just head out together for a Vegas-style after-party/casino and bar hopping rather than having another formal event.

I’m trying to figure out what a REALISTIC total budget would be for something like this. I genuinely don’t know if I should be thinking $10k, $15k, $20k, $25k+, etc., so I’d love to hear what people actually spent or what you think would be realistic for 65 people.

I’m especially looking for recommendations for:
🥂 Restaurants that can accommodate ~65 people
🍽️ Restaurant wedding/reception packages
🍸 Food + open bar packages
🚐 Limo/party bus companies that can transport everyone from the chapel to the restaurant
🎉 Patio/private space recommendations for the Friday welcome night
💒 Any other Vegas vendors you think I’m forgetting

I’m NOT looking for a traditional wedding venue or banquet hall. I really want the reception to feel like a nice Vegas restaurant dinner with our own private/semi-private space, food and an open bar.
If you’ve done something similar, please tell me what you actually paid and what was included! Even rough numbers would help me tremendously because I’m trying to establish a realistic budget before I start contacting venues.

My boyfriend and I went to a jeweler a little over two weeks ago to design my engagement ring. We picked out a specific lab-grown radiant diamond, chose the setting, and he paid for everything that day.

The salesperson walked us through the entire process. She told us she’d send the diamond information and video the following Monday or Tuesday. Then, once the diamond arrived, we’d come back to see it in person, try on the 3D model of the ring, confirm my ring size again, and then they’d make the final ring.

None of that happened.

We got the invoice, but never received the diamond information or video. After waiting over two weeks, my boyfriend started calling for updates because we hadn’t heard anything.

The first person told him the ring was “in production,” which immediately confused me because none of the steps they originally described had happened.

After calling back again today, another employee finally told him that the diamond we originally chose had become unavailable.

Honestly, I’m furious.

I know there’s probably nothing anyone can do now if someone else bought it first, but I’m upset because that was the diamond we picked out and paid for. I didn’t just choose a grading report—I chose that specific stone.

What makes me even more upset is that we only found out because we kept calling them. They never contacted us.

Now I’m left wondering:
When did they know the diamond wasn’t available?
Were they ever going to tell us?
Were they planning to substitute another diamond without talking to us?

They sent us the grading report for a replacement diamond, but there are no photos or videos, so I have no idea what it actually looks like. The specs are almost identical on paper, but I specifically picked the first radiant because I liked how it looked. Anyone familiar with radiant cuts knows two diamonds with nearly identical reports can still look very different.

At this point I’m honestly losing confidence in the whole process. The communication has been terrible, the timeline they gave us never happened, and now the diamond we chose is gone.

Am I justified in being this upset? Is this something that happens in the jewelry industry, or should I expect much better communication?

If you were in my position, what questions would you be asking before agreeing to a replacement?

Is anyone’s November case still pending?

Ok I need advice but please forgive me in advance if I say anything offensive. I just found out everything an hour ago and don’t know where to start or who to turn to.

This morning I went though my boyfriends phone while he was asleep. We’re moving in together next month and have been preparing for the move.

I had no reason to go through it, I wanted to because it’s something I’ve done before in other relationships. I know I have my own set of issues.

We have never ever had any infidelity issues. We are in your most normal relationship or so I thought.

Didn’t know what to look for on his phone since he doesn’t have social media besides twitter which is what I checked.

I came across two accounts he messaged asking if he could pay them for a video.

I take my phone to take pictures of his phone so I can go back and read them.

I check his Venmo, 6 months before we met he was venmoing one person constantly with the note being “stuff.”

It looked like a trans person.

I decided to go through his emails and type onlyfans when I found tons of emails that his subscriptions were ending so I took a pic of the emails.

I noticed a lot of the usernames had queer or the trans flag in their handle.

I’m at a loss of words. Can he be gay? Bi?

This morning I snatched his phone trying to be like I wanna see what you do, it was stupid but I was able to act shocked when I pulled up twitter and asked what this was about.

He freaked out and snatched the phone. He said no they messaged him, and deleted the messages and all while I was telling him I can see what he’s doing (sorry at this point I still didn’t realize they were trans, I realized this after he left)

I asked him to leave and he apologized and left for work.

We have a normal active sex life.

He’s constantly asking me for nudes and records us in bed and we both get off on those.

He gets hard when I walk out in a tight dress before going out. He gets drunk and is touchy and lovey with me.

I know he thinks other women are hot because I saw he texted his friend about someone being hot which is fine when you don’t act on it and tell your friend about it.

Is he gay? Is he bi? Do I leave him? I don’t know where to start because he doesn’t know that I know they’re trans.

Hello, I wanted to share that I was able to get a temporary drivers license while my renewal is pending.

What I booked: DL renewal

What I took to the DMV:
- renewal receipt
- expired dl
- expired work permit
- social Security card just in case

The DMV will then request a lawful presence verification, and it will most likely come back ineligible so a request is submitted to Austin.

Took a month to get something in the mail that I was verified then took that to the DMV and got a temporary drivers license.

My renewal is still pending.

I am not a camera person whatsoever.
I want a g7x and the same picture quality for pics for social media. I however don’t want the same price tag! What is your recommendation to something similar below $450 if possible. Again I am not educated on cameras so my budget and expectations might be ridiculous. In the us if that makes a difference. Thanks in advance!

First inquiry request denied within 10 days, expedite request denied in April.
Submitted a second inquiry request today and within an hour I got the generic email saying I am within normal time frame even though the agent agreed it’s taking longer than normal.

I am feeling paralyzed.

I renewed November 25th. My EAD expired April 23rd. Idk what else to do. I submitted an inquiry request early April and was just told to wait.

My expedite request was denied.

Reached out to congressperson and they were told the same thing I was.

Dps submitted a save verification request.

I am applying for an apartment with my significant other soon and I need to fill out paperwork.

I am sad. Every week I see people say it’s our week and it isn’t. I’m trying not be negative but it’s all I can think about.

Just needed to vent somewhere.

I need advice.

I work for local government in a major city, and I’ve been in my role for a few years now. This is the first time my renewal has taken this long, even though I submitted it with plenty of time. It has now been over five months, and my I-765 has expired.

My work authorization expired about a week ago, but my job hasn’t said anything yet. I don’t remember having to submit my new employment card two years ago, so I’m not sure if they’re actively tracking it or not.

They also recently announced a hiring freeze for up to six months, which means no one new will be hired.

My family is encouraging me to put in my two weeks so that I remain rehireable in the future, since I would like to stay in local government. They’re worried I could be fired at any moment.

I’m honestly unsure what my options are with HR because I’m scared to say anything. At the same time, leaving abruptly is easier said than done, especially since no one at work knows my situation.

What would you do? I’m supposed to be moving in July and will need paystubs and need an income in general. I also have a pension.

I had to submit the request without evidence. on top of that, I thought I must have missed it the first time so I ended up submitting two requests which I don’t think they will like.
